Patriots | Devin Street claimed by Patriots    Tue May 2, 05:18 PM

Free-agent WR Devin Street (Colts) was claimed off waivers Tuesday, May 2, according to a source.

Footballguys view: The Patriots will kick the tires on Street to see if they can use him in any way. He's bounced around the league so far, and this is his second stop in New England (2016). Street was signed to the team's practice squad on September 5th 2016 but he was lost to the Colts only a couple of weeks later. A fifth-round pick of the Cowboys in 2014, he's a size/speed guy at 6'3" 200 pounds but Street will struggle to make the final cuts with the Patriots.

Cowboys | Cole Beasley, Devin Street on stat sheet    Mon Sep 21, 12:52 AM

Dallas Cowboys WR Cole Beasley posted four receptions for 14 yards in the Week 2 game against the Philadelphia Eagles. He was targeted five times. WR Devin Street was targeted twice and he finished with one reception for 18 yards.

Footballguys view: Nobody really produced the way most expected in the Cowboys passing game outside of Terrance Williams. Without Tony Romo over the next several weeks, we'll have to see who Brandon Weeden favors in the passing game. Right now, it seems like Williams is that guy.

Cowboys | Devin Street ready to start?    Wed Sep 16, 11:33 PM

Dallas Cowboys WR Devin Street might be in for a bigger role in the offense with WR Dez Bryant (foot) sidelined, and beat writer Bryan Broaddus feels Street might even be used as the No. 2 receiver behind WR Terrance Williams.

Footballguys view: We're not sure what to expect from Street, so unless you are looking for a deep flier, we'd roster him but not start him. Don't start him because of the uncertainty but roster him for the upside, if you have the room.

Cowboys | Dez Bryant to have surgery Tuesday    Mon Sep 14, 12:27 PM

Dallas Cowboys WR Dez Bryant (foot) will have surgery to fix a broken fifth metatarsal in his right foot Tuesday, Sept. 15, according to a source. Bryant is expected to miss four to six weeks. The Cowboys have their bye on Oct. 18, so Bryant could return Oct. 26 against the New York Giants.

Footballguys view: The Cowboys will make some adjustments here, and fantasy owners need to run to the waiver wire. Wide receivers Terrance Williams and Cole Beasley--plus tight end Jason Witten will get larger roles in the offense with Bryant out. Devin Street could start in Bryant's spot with Beasley primarily working in the slot...and Williams in his normal spot on the outside.

Cowboys | Devin Street re-injures ankle    Sat Aug 8, 11:34 PM

Dallas Cowboys WR Devin Street (ankle) aggravated an ankle injury running routes in practice Saturday, Aug. 8, and took the rest of the practice off.

Footballguys view: We like monitoring Street in deep dynasty leagues, but he's got to stay healthy if he wants to make a positive impression in camp. Street is currently fourth on the depth chart behind Dez Bryant, Terrance Williams and Cole Beasley.

Cowboys | Devin Street participates Saturday    Sat Aug 8, 02:00 PM

Dallas Cowboys WR Devin Street (ankle) participated in a walkthrough during practice Saturday, Aug. 8.

Footballguys view: Street is an interesting player to keep monitoring in super deep dynasty leagues. He's got an intriguing size/speed combination, measuring in at 6'3" 198 pounds. Street is currently fourth on the depth chart behind Dez Bryant, Terrance Williams and Cole Beasley.

Cowboys | Devin Street works with starters    Tue Jul 14, 10:41 AM

Dallas Cowboys WR Devin Street worked with the starters with WR Dez Bryant absent this offseason.

Footballguys view: Street is an interesting player for dynasty owners to scoop up on the cheap. He's a big-bodied receiver with a large wingspan. Street has the ability to high-point the ball as it comes in, and he can regularly win at the point of the catch because of his aggression. He's not a burner, but he's a name to know in case Bryant holds out into the regular season.

Cowboys | A.J. Jenkins signs with Dallas    Tue May 26, 12:57 PM

Free-agent WR A.J. Jenkins (Chiefs) signed an undisclosed deal with the Dallas Cowboys Tuesday, May 26, according to a source. Jenkins was the 30th overall pick by the San Francisco 49ers in 2012, but he didn't catch a pass in three games with them. Dallas wanted to add a veteran receiver with WR Dez Bryant not taking part in the offseason training program. WRs Terrance Williams and Devin Street have worked with the first team in Bryant's absence, with WR Cole Beasley playing the slot.

Footballguys view: It's still amazing to us that Jenkins was actually a first-round pick. That was then, and this is now as Jenkins tries to stick on his third team in four years. He's no guarantee to make the final roster, and Jenkins has no fantasy value--even in the deepest of leagues.

Cowboys | Terrance Williams has No. 2 job locked down    Tue Aug 12, 06:55 PM

Dallas Cowboys WR Terrance Williams has done everything asked of him in training camp as the No. 2 wide receiver opposite WR Dez Bryant. The No. 3 receiver position seems to be a committee with WR Cole Beasley as the leader among TE Gavin Escobar and WRs Dwayne Harris and Devin Street.

Footballguys view: Williams has good downfield speed and ball-tracking ability. His current ADP is WR35 (7.11) in 12-team PPR leagues.

Cowboys | Owner impressed with four players    Sun Aug 3, 10:24 PM

Dallas Cowboys DT Ken Bishop, DT Davon Coleman, DT Dartwan Bush and WR Devin Street have been impressive so far during training camp, according to owner/general manager Jerry Jones. Jones said all three defensive tackles are in contention for a spot on the final roster and that Street has shown good route running skills.

Footballguys view: Street is the player fantasy owners need to become familiar with. He's Pitt's all-time leading receiver and has a good size speed combination. Street's size (6'3"), wingspan and leaping ability make him a good target in the red zone. He's working to be third on the depth chart behind Dez Bryant and Terrence Williams. His main competition for that spot is veteran Dwayne Harris.

Cowboys | Devin Street top candidate for No. 5 WR job    Wed Jul 16, 12:10 PM

Dallas Cowboys WR Devin Street is the leading candidate for No. 5 wide receiver job after he had a solid performance during offseason workouts. Street will have to adjust to the more physical style of play in the NFL.

Footballguys view: Street was a fifth-round pick by the Cowboys this year. Measuring in at 6'3", Street has the length to be a quality downfield target. He can track passes over his shoulder regularly, and this helps him beat defenders on long passes. Street needs to be more physical and add some weight to his frame. When he does that, he'll be an even better red-zone target because of his size, wingspan and leaping ability.

Cowboys | Devin Street likely to make team    Sat Jun 7, 05:38 PM

Dallas Cowboys WR Devin Street will likely make the team in 2014.

Footballguys view: Zero surprise here. The fifth-round pick has an intriguing size/speed combination. Street can work outside the numbers or in the slot for the Cowboys. He's got a natural skill set, but the rookie needs to play with more consistency as a pro.

Cowboys | Sign Devin Street    Fri May 23, 01:48 PM

The Dallas Cowboys signed WR Devin Street Friday, May 23. Per NFL rules, the length of the contract is four years. Financial terms were not disclosed.

Footballguys view: Street is Pitt's all-time receptions leader. He has good length, and that helps him haul in passes above the rim. Street is somewhat thin, so durability could be a problem. He'll have to pack on some pounds in order to stand up to the beating he'll take in the NFL.

Cowboys | Could have interest in re-signing Miles Austin    Wed May 14, 05:41 PM

Dallas Cowboys head coach Jason Garrett said free-agent WR Miles Austin is absolutely a possibility to return to the team. "We love Miles Austin, we really do," Garrett said. "Obviously, drafting Devin Street (Saturday), we addressed the receiver position a little bit. But Miles has been a really good player for us."

Footballguys view: The fact that Austin is still a free agent shows you what the league thinks of him. In Dallas, he might have a tiny bit of value because of the continuity, but Cleveland and Carolina would also present instant opportunity.

Footballguys view: This is a deep class of wide receivers. Our five favorite to watch? Paul Richardson (Colorado), Odell Beckham Jr. (LSU), Jarvis Landry (LSU) and Robert Herron (Wyoming). We could go on and on raving about this draft class.
