Pittsburgh Steelers WR Antonio Brown and Steelers impending free-agent RB Le'Veon Bell are not expected to be intensely pursued by the Indianapolis Colts this offseason. The Colts will have the most salary cap space in the league this offseason and will do their due diligence, but Brown's off-field drama and Bell's asking price may be too much for the Colts.
Footballguys view: The Bell non-interest seems a bit....odd. The Colts have over $100 million in cap space and Bell could put them over the top. Having Bell take handoffs and catch passes from Andrew Luck is like a dream come true. We'll see if they actually want to spend that money on a back who held out of the 2018 season entirely. |

Indianapolis Colts WR Ryan Grant was able to play in the final nine regular season games after returning from an ankle injury but was held to under three receptions and 25 yards in all nine games.
Footballguys view: Grant wasn't the same after the ankle injury, and then he was listed with a toe injury that caused him to miss time in the playoffs. He's set to be an unrestricted free agent in 2019. |

Former Arizona Cardinals tight ends coach Jason Michael and former Denver Broncos offensive line-tackles coach Chris Strausser were hired by the Indianapolis Colts Tuesday, Jan. 29, as tight ends coach and offensive line coach, respectively.
Footballguys view: Michael was on the Chargers staff with Colts head coach Frank Reich in 2013 and Strausser has decades of experience as a college coach under Chris Petersen at Boise State and Washington. Reich is filling out his staff with his picks after being hired as a second-choice head coach after Josh McDaniels backed out last year after the Super Bowl. |

Indianapolis Colts impending free-agent OG Mark Glowinski signed a three-year, $18 million extension Tuesday, Jan. 29.
Footballguys view: The Colts got a terrific deal by signing Glowinski before he hit free agency. He's a former fourth round pick by Seattle that the Colts got on waivers last year. Their offensive line will have continuity next year and the guard market just got thinner. |

Indianapolis Colts WR Deon Cain (knee) could be an option for the No. 2 receiver job next season if he can recover from his torn anterior cruciate ligament.
Footballguys view: Cain was a very intriguing prospect last year coming out of Clemson, and that's why the Colts selected him in the sixth round of the 2018 NFL draft. Measuring in at 6'2" 205 pounds, Cain has a great size/speed combination. He gets into his routes quickly and looks to be smooth in and out of his breaks. If he's healthy and plays up to his potential, Cain can be a capable no.2 receiver. Dynasty GMs need to keep an eye on him. |

Indianapolis Colts QB Jacoby Brissett appears unlikely to be traded during the offseason, as general manager Chris Ballard admitted Monday, Jan. 14, that 'it would take somebody doing something that would blow me away, and it has to be the right thing for the kid, too.'
Footballguys view: Ballard revealed he turned down offers for Brissett during the 2018 season. The Colts have Brissett under contract through the 2019 season, so they may not be trading him now...but that doesn't mean he might not be available before the 2019 trade deadline. |

However, he is expected to make a full recovery by the start of next season without needing to undergo surgery.

Dontrelle Inman player page

Indianapolis Colts TE Eric Ebron (hip) was a full practice participant Thursday, Jan. 10.
Footballguys view: Ebron's presence is a huge boost for the Colts offense. He's a touchdown hog going up against a Chiefs defense that gives it up to tight ends like they're handing out Halloween candy. Ebron should be a big part of the Colts gameplan on Saturday. |
Eric Ebron player page

Indianapolis Colts WR T.Y. Hilton (ankle) missed practice Thursday, Jan. 10, but was not listed with a designation despite not practicing all week.
