|Footballguys view: Street is the 'other' pass-rusher for the Wolfpack as he played opposite first-round pick Bradley Chubb (Broncos). On the field, Street's production is inconsistent but the tools are there for him to be at least a decent rotational player. At 280 pounds, Street can bull rush with great strength and has good closing to the quarterback. |Footballguys view: Wilson had over 1,200 yards rushing last year even though he missed three games due to a foot injury. That same injury prevented him from working out at the Scouting Combine even though he was invited and did attend. Bobby Turner, 49ers running back coach, is one of the best in the game and has kept tabs on Wilson throughout the pre-draft process.|

The San Francisco 49ers selected Washington WR Dante Pettis with the 44th overall pick in the 2018 NFL Draft Friday, April 27.

49ers | 49ers targeting Tremaine Edmunds Wed Apr 25, 07:19 PM
The San Francisco 49ers 'covet' Virginia Tech LB Tremaine Edmunds and will be targeting him with their first-round pick, No. 9 overall, at the NFL Draft on Thursday, April 26, according to Tony Pauline of DraftAnalyst.com.

He held the first one with the 49ers on Saturday, April 21, with WR Pierre Garcon among those who showed up. 'It kind of gets us away from the coaches and everything, allows me to talk to the receivers about specific things,' Garoppolo said. 'Talking through routes, concepts -- how they see it vs. how I see it -- it just gets us on the same page.'
|Footballguys view: The future looks bright for Garoppolo and the 49ers this year. With a full season as their starter, Garoppolo could get the team into the Wild Card conversation.|

|Footballguys view: The 49ers need linebacker help with Reuben Foster in trouble with the law. Edmunds is different from Foster, but he's a special talent in his own way. He's incredibly athletic and can play sideline-to-sideline in the NFL.|

Georgia LB Roquan Smith and Virginia Tech LB Tremaine Edmunds had pre-draft visits with the San Francisco 49ers this week. The 49ers also wanted to meet with Boise State LB Leighton Vander Esch, but his schedule was full.

|Footballguys view: Tate is a long receiver, but questions about his speed might hurt his stock. The 49ers could incorporate another outside receiver into their mix. Tate would provide an element they lack and the offense is on the rise. This would be a good fantasy destination for him.|
