Panthers | Greg Olsen finishes with 52 yards    Sun Oct 13, 01:29 PM

Carolina Panthers TE Greg Olsen caught four passes for 52 yards against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Week 6. He was targeted seven times during the game.

Footballguys view: Olsen showed signs of life for fantasy, but didn't post half of the receiving yards he had in the first matchup with Tampa. He's a low ceiling option with Kyle Allen who is not an essential hold through the bye.

Panthers | Two touchdowns for Curtis Samuel    Sun Oct 13, 01:28 PM

Carolina Panthers WR Curtis Samuel caught four passes for 70 yards and one touchdown against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Week 6. He also rushed for eight yards and one touchdown on one carry during the game.

Footballguys view: Samuel had his best game of the year, playing at a different speed than the Bucs sluggish secondary. He might have been on some benches for this one and is still a tough player to project as a start or sit week to week.

Panthers | Seven receptions for D.J. Moore    Sun Oct 13, 01:19 PM

Carolina Panthers WR D.J. Moore caught seven passes for 73 yards against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Week 6. He was targeted 10 times during the game.

Footballguys view: Moore is the safest option in the Panthers passing game as the team heads into their bye. He has adjusted well to Kyle Allen and didn't lose value with the quarterback change after not getting many targets in Allen's first start.

Panthers | Christian McCaffrey accounts for two TDs    Sun Oct 13, 01:13 PM

Carolina Panthers RB Christian McCaffrey rushed for 31 yards and one touchdown on 22 carries against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Week 6. He also caught four passes for 26 yards and one touchdown during the game.

Footballguys view: The Bucs run defense proved to be very tough matchup for McCaffrey for the second time this year, but he was able to score twice in the rout and post yet another strong week heading into his well-earned bye.

Panthers | Kyle Allen plays well in Week 6    Sun Oct 13, 12:53 PM

Carolina Panthers QB Kyle Allen went 20-for-32 for 227 yards and two touchdowns against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Week 6.

Footballguys view: Allen was accurate and efficient against a very beatable Bucs defense that has fallen apart over the last month. Allen may have played himself into a starting job over Cam Newton by going 4-0. The Panthers will face the tough 49ers defense on the other side of the bye.

Panthers | Greg Olsen disappoints in Week 4    Sun Sep 29, 06:27 PM

Carolina Panthers TE Greg Olsen ended up with two catches for five yards on four targets in Week 4 against the Houston Texans.

Footballguys view: Olsen feasted on the Cardinals last week but looked like a bit player with Christian McCaffrey the engine of the offense and the Panthers not taking a lot of chances in the passing game. He's still a low TE1 against Jacksonville next week, but his arrow is pointing down.
