Steelers | Ben Roethlisberger reaches milestone    Mon Sep 29, 12:40 PM

Footballguys view: Too bad the milestone came in a loss. After crushing the Panthers, many Steelers fans worried the team would play down to their competition. It comes as no surprise that Tampa Bay was able to come out on top in Week 4.

Steelers | Slimmer Le'Veon Bell running well    Mon Sep 22, 11:19 PM

Pittsburgh Steelers RB Le'Veon Bell lost 20 pounds in the offseason, and he credits better conditioning for allowing him to make explosive plays like his 81-yard run in Week 3 against the Carolina Panthers.

Footballguys view: Bell was already an agile back coming out of Michigan State. His lighter weight is only helping him make defenders miss in the open field. If we could get a mulligan on our fantasy drafts, Bell could easily be a top-3 (maybe number one overall) pick.

Pittsburgh Steelers RB Le'Veon Bell tallied 107 total yards in the team's Week 2 game Thursday, Sept. 11, rushing 11 times for 59 yards and catching five passes for 48 yards.

Footballguys view: This is what an elite fantasy RB1 does - gets over 100 total yards when his team trails for the whole game and the offense barely gets the engine to turn over. He is a must-start every week, first-round caliber fantasy force.

Footballguys view: No surprise here. It's a short week as the Steelers face the Ravens on Thursday night. Start Roethlisberger, Bell and Brown with confidence. We like Wheaton as a WR3 with upside, and Miller is a decent option at TE in Week 2.

Steelers | Lance Moore ruled out    Wed Sep 10, 04:23 PM

Pittsburgh Steelers WR Lance Moore (groin) did not participate in practice Wednesday, Sept. 10, and has been ruled out for Week 2.

Steelers | Dri Archer to miss Week 2    Wed Sep 10, 04:22 PM

Pittsburgh Steelers RB Dri Archer (ankle) did not participate in practice Wednesday, Sept. 10, and has been ruled out for Week 2.

Footballguys view: We'll have to wait in order to see the exciting rookie playmaker on the field for the Steelers. Even with his big-play ability, the fantasy value for Archer is low.

Steelers | Markus Wheaton earning trust    Tue Sep 9, 09:05 PM

Pittsburgh Steelers WR Markus Wheaton had six catches for 97 yards in Week 1, including a 20-yard catch late in the game that set up the game-winning field goal. QB Ben Roethlisberger said he didn't consider it a gamble to look for Wheaton in the crucial situation.

Footballguys view: Message! This reminds us of how Antonio Brown first burst onto the scene in the NFL. Wheaton, like Brown years ago, is earning the trust of his quarterback with clutch catches. It shouldn't be a surprise. Wheaton had great hands and was known as a sharp route-runner coming out of Oregon State.
