Summary

After being the twenty second pick of last year's draft Dupree got off to a blazing start with sacks in each of his first two games as a pro. After that he seemed to hit a wall, finishing his rookie campaign with 4 sacks and recording none after week eight. His second season started with a groin injury that landed him on IR at the outset. Dupree returned to action against the Colts in week twelve. Giving the organization and Steelers fans reason for optimism, he finished the season strong with 15 tackles 4.5 sacks and a forced fumble over the final four games. With no impressive numbers on his resume' Dupree will be overlooked by many fantasy owners. For those in tackle heavy or balanced scoring leagues his value will be limited at best. For those in big play base leagues however, Dupree has the potential to be a 55-60 tackle and double digit sack contributor. (May 25)

Steelers | Bud Dupree likely will start (Sun Jul 9, 04:12 PM) - Pittsburgh Steelers LB Bud Dupree likely will be the starting left outside linebacker this season. Dupree said he is more confident and has a better understanding of the defensive playbook.

Our View: Dupree missed more than half of last season with an injury, but his natural physical ability flashed in a more aggressive Steelers defense in the second half of the season. He's a potential breakout player in big play/sack-heavy IDP leagues.
