49ers | Three signed to futures deals Tue Jan 14, 09:02 PM
The San Francisco 49ers signed WR David Reed, WR DeMarco Sampson and DT Christian Topou to reserve/futures contracts Tuesday, Jan. 14.
Footballguys view: Owners in super deep dynasty leagues should keep an eye on the progress of Sampson. He's a bigger wide receiver who can track passes deep. |

Bills | Five cut Mon Aug 26, 10:50 AM
The Buffalo Bills cut WR Da'Rick Rogers, DB Dominique Ellis, WR DeMarco Sampson, CB Jumal Rolle and C Ryan Turnley.
Footballguys view: Rogers was an interesting priority free agent for the Bills to add after the draft this year. He did little to impress during his time in Buffalo but may catch on somewhere else. Rogers has an intriguing size/speed combination. |

Bills | DeMarco Sampson signs Thu May 30, 11:49 AM
The Buffalo Bills signed free-agent WR DeMarco Sampson (Eagles) and cut DB Vernon Kearney.
Footballguys view: Sampson was a seventh-round pick by the Cardinals back in 2011. He's got a good size/speed combination but will find it difficult to make the final roster. The Bills are stacked at the position since drafting Robert Woods and Marquise Goodwin. The team also added incredibly talented UDFA Da'Rick Rogers after the draft. |

Eagles | Two released Mon May 13, 10:37 AM
The Philadelphia Eagles released WR DeMarco Sampson and DT Ronnie Cameron.
Footballguys view: Sampson was a seventh-round pick by the Cardinals in 2011. He's got an intriguing size/speed combination but durability and inconsistency have prevented him from developing as a pro. |

Footballguys view: William Powell had an outstanding preseason and made Smith expendable. He's a name to remember if Ryan Williams and Beanie Wells can't stay healthy this year. |

Cardinals | Two may have edge for No. 5, No.6 WR spots Thu Jul 19, 02:31 PM
Arizona Cardinals WRs Stephen Williams and DeMarco Sampson may be the favorites for the No. 5 and No. 6 wide receiver spots in the roster. The team will also want those two positions to play on special teams.
Footballguys view: Sampson should stick on the roster, and may have better upside than some think. He was a favorite target of rookie QB Ryan Lindley when they were teammates at San Diego State. |

The Arizona Cardinals have declared RB Beanie Wells, LB Brandon Williams, OT D.J. Young, WR DeMarco Sampson, FS Kerry Rhodes, QB Kevin Kolb, WR Stephen Williams inactive for Week 17.

NFL | DeMarco Sampson still recovering from surgery Fri Feb 25, 11:57 PM
San Diego State WR DeMarco Sampson (knee) said Friday, Feb. 25, at the NFL Scouting Combine that he will only do vertical jump and bench, as he is still recovering from surgery in December to repair a torn mensicus. He played with the injury for most of the 2010 season. Sampson will run at his Pro Day.
Footballguys view: Sampson's injury will likely prevent him from being drafted. He's seen as more of a backup receiver who may need to show ability on special teams if he wants to stick around in the NFL. |
