He spent most of his rookie year on the practice squad, but he was called up to the active roster in late November. He's a rhythm passer who is mechanically sound and can make accurate throws at all three levels of the field (short, intermediate, deep). We'll continue to watch his progress in dynasty leagues, but coming out of college we only graded him as a career backup with limited upside as a starter. |

Rudock is tough and played with a ton of moxie in college at Michigan (and Iowa), but we don't know of any fantasy leagues that give points for moxie. From a talent standpoint, the rookie QB doesn't have a strong arm and needs better anticipation when going through his reads. However, he is accurate on short-to-intermediate throws and what scouts call a 'rhythm' passer. We'll be monitoring his progress -- but only in the deepest dynasty leagues. |
