| Our view: Randy Moss was dominant in this contest, and made it look so easy on the field. Fantasy owners were all smiles with this performance, but Patriots fans will be talking about this loss for years to come. |

Patriots | Moss scores three touchdowns Week 6 Sun Oct 18, 08:07 PM
The Associated Press reports New England Patriots WR Randy Moss caught eight passes for 129 yards and three touchdowns in Week 6.
| Our view: The Brady-Moss connection that was so close to breaking out over the past three weeks exploded today. Moss caught balls all over the field on a wide variety of routes and Brady put the ball on his numbers regularly despite the poor weather. |

New England Patriots WR Randy Moss (back) was limited in practice Thursday, Oct. 1, but he said his injury was improving.

Patriots | Moss catches 10 passes Week 3 Sun Sep 27, 06:09 PM
The Associated Press reports New England Patriots WR Randy Moss caught 10 passes for 116 yards Week 3.
| Our view: Tom Brady got Moss involved early, but the duo really began clicking in the second half. Moss narrowly missed pulling in a tough catch in the end zone on a deep ball in the third quarter. With the Patriot running game looking good this week, Moss should be more effective, especially if Wes Welker can get back to health soon. |

The Associated Press reports New England Patriots WR Randy Moss caught six passes for 90 yards with two touchdown receptions during the team's preseason game Friday, Aug. 28.

Patriots | Brady not worried about lack of chemistry with receivers Sat Aug 1, 04:24 AM
Christopher L. Gasper, of The Boston Globe, reports New England Patriots QB Tom Brady (knee) said it is easy to regain chemistry with WR Randy Moss. 'He's the best receiver to probably ever play the game. You just have to throw it where he's running, because he's usually open,' Brady said.
| Our view: Brady noted he spent a lot of time together with Moss during the offseason working out, as he did with WRs Wes Welker, Joey Galloway and Greg Lewis. 'I feel like we've got off to a really good start,' Brady said of his chemistry with his receivers. |

Raiders | Asomugha says Randy Moss toughest wide receiver to cover Sat Jul 18, 12:47 PM
Jerry McDonald, of InsideBayArea.com, reports that CB Nnamdi Asomugha said that Patriots WR Randy Moss is the harder to cover than any wide receiver in the league. Asomugha said, "I've said it a few times now, any time I get the question, that's going to be the answer. There are several receivers in the league that are above everyone else and you're going to have to always bring you're A-game for them, but Moss is a guy who always seems to be in his prime. Even as he ages, you wonder when he's going to slow down, when he's going to stop with all the tricks on the field. When I say tricks I mean, the mental games that he plays with his guys in terms of changing his routes, changing up his stance and things like that. He's a guy you've got to be prepared for each and every snap. And I played with him for two years, but still couldn't figure him out the way that I would have liked to."
| Our view: Since Asomugha is the premier shutdown corner in the NFL, we don't take his words lightly. Also note how decisive Asomugha was in his statement, even noting that practicing against Moss for two years still didn't help that much. We wouldn't blame you if you took Moss as the #1 WR off the board over Larry Fitzgerald now that Tom Brady is back. |

Patriots | Brady, Moss building chemistry during offseason workouts Tue Jun 9, 02:17 PM
Mike Reiss, of The Boston Globe, reports New England Patriots QB Tom Brady and WR Randy Moss have been spending quality one-on-one time focusing on red-zone work during practice. Brady would often talk to Moss after each route.
| Our view: Randy Moss has already stated how this offense was going to be better than ever in 2009. A very bold statement indeed, considering the type of production this team had the last time Brady played a full season. If Brady doesn't hook up with Moss for 23 TDs again this season, it won't be for a lack of trying. |

Patriots | Moss believes offense could break records Mon May 25, 06:14 PM
Tim Graham, of ESPN.com, reports New England Patriots WR Randy Moss said the team's offense could have the ability to break the NFL record for points and touchdowns they set in 2007 because of the return of QB Tom Brady (knee), but the team's main focus is a Super Bowl run. 'We have a lot of high expectations here,' Moss said. 'Records are meant to be broken. I believe that we could threaten the records, but I don't think that we're going in to break any records. Our main focus is to go in and take one game at a time and if at the end of the season we're in the Super Bowl, then that's where it is.'
| Our view: "All we can hope is to come out with smoking guns." Moss said. Brady is back and by all accounts healthy - and the Patriots could be back with a vengeance in 2009. |
