Former New England Patriots LB Dont'a Hightower was named as the team's new linebackers coach on Friday, Feb. 9.

New England Patriots S Devin McCourty said that he believes RB Brandon Bolden, OT Marcus Cannon, SS Patrick Chung and LB Dont'a Hightower will return for the 2021 season, during an appearance on the Patriots Talk podcast with NBC Sports Boston's Tom E. Curran Friday, Feb. 5. All four players sat out the 2020 season because of concerns about COVID-19.
