Quick fantasy outlook: The past two years Folk has retained his job after competing to a preseason draw - against Nick Novak in 2011 and against Josh Brown in 2012. Folk has never repeated his pre-2009-hip-injury success, and thus has not solidified his job security with the Jets. This summer Folk faces undrafted rookie Brett Maher out of Nebraska. Folk's co-specialist are also competing to retain their jobs. Fourth year long snapper Tanner Purdum will face Travis Tripucka. At punter and holder, Robert Malone is back along with newcomer Ryan Quigley. Whoever wins the jobs will be relying on opportunities from the offense guided by new coordinator Marty Mornhinweg, and will be working under new special teams coordinator Ben Kotwica hired from within. After ranking in the top ten in attempted kicking points two straight years, the Jets dropped to 23rd in 2011 and 28th last year.
