Herron has averaged 7.7 yards per carry in the last two weeks, and he's also contributed in the passing game, with QB Andrew Luck targeting him seven times in the last two weeks, and Herron has caught all seven targets. 'He's a talented, talented guy, and I think we've seen that out of him,' Colts head coach Chuck Pagano said. 'He's quick, he's fast to hit the hole and once he gets outside, he's got some long speed; I think we all found that out.'

| Footballguys view: 'Boom' Herron is a decent inside runner with a little pop to his game. We like Burkhead's determination between the tackles and fierce attitude when running the ball. The Bengals could try to sneak Burkhead through to the practice squad if he doesn't make the final roster. |

Cincinnati Bengals RB Cedric Peerman (undisclosed) missed some offseason workouts because of an undisclosed injury but should be ready for the start of training camp. He is expected to compete with RBs Dan Herron and Rex Burkhead for a roster spot but likely will have an edge because of his special teams play as well as his production running the ball last season.
| Footballguys view: Peerman is a good all-around runner but he should only be on a roster in ultra deep fantasy leagues. At one time we were hoping to see more from Peerman but it looks like at this time his role is clearly defined (and not expanding). |
