Week 13: at New York Jets
All WR vs NYJ
Mark and Joe say: Neutral matchup. Andrew Luck (concussion) reported he feels '100 percent' after practice Monday, November 28. Head coach Chuck Pagano later told reporters he anticipates Luck returning in Week 13 to face the New York Jets after a one-game hiatus vs. Pittsburgh last week. To date, Luck is eighth among fantasy quarterbacks with 236/375 for 2,827 yards passing, 19 TDs and eight interceptions thrown (and 51/246/1 rushing). However, T.Y. Hilton suffered a back injury and was forced out of the game last week - it may be that Luck comes back to a team without their #1 wide receiver. Stay tuned to Footballguys.com's Players in the News as the weekend approaches for the latest injury news on these two stud fantasy players. The mix of receivers available for Luck at New York is in flux as of midweek. Hilton did return to practice on Wednesday, November 30 which is a positive sign. However, in some bad news, Luck (concussion) remains in the concussion protocol as of Wednesday, November 30. He hasn't been cleared for this weekend (yet).
The Jets' pass defense averages 262.8 net passing yards allowed per game (22nd in the NFL) with 18 passing scores given up so far vs. just six interceptions (tied for 25th in the league) and only 19 sacks (29th in the NFL) generated this season. Over the last four weeks, though, New York has averaged 14.1 fantasy points allowed per game to opposing quarterbacks (least in the NFL); and 17.8 fantasy points per game allowed to wide receivers (second-least); with 4.6 fantasy points given up per game to tight ends (third-least). Tom Brady isn't Case Keenum or Ryan Tannehill, though, and he blasted this group with 30/50 for 286 net yards passing, two TDs and zero interceptions thrown, with zero sacks taken last weekend.
This looks like a neutral matchup for the Colts and their injury-plagued offense.
