Buccaneers | Breshad Perriman hoping to stay put    Mon Dec 30, 12:48 PM

Impending free-agent WR Breshad Perriman (Buccaneers) told reporters Monday, Dec. 30, that his preference is to remain with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Footballguys view: Perriman has made himself a ton of money at the end of the 2019 season, having three 100-yard games over the last three weeks. He's set to be an unrestricted free agent in the spring, and the wide receiver class of veterans isn't that strong this year. His injury woes may finally be behind him and that first-round talent that he had with the Ravens has finally come through with the Buccaneers.

Buccaneers | Week 17 final stats for Buccaneers    Sun Dec 29, 04:58 PM

Tampa Bay Buccaneers QB Jameis Winston completed 13-of-24 passes for 201 yards, two touchdowns and two interceptions in Week 17 against the Atlanta Falcons. RB Ronald Jones ran 11 times for 106 yards with two grabs for 10 yards, while WR Breshad Perriman led the way with five catches for 134 yards and a touchdown on eight targets. TE Cameron Brate had just one grab for two yards and a score on three targets. RB Peyton Barber ended up with six runs for 10 yards with two receptions for 25 yards on four targets.

Footballguys view: Winston threw a pick six in overtime on his last pass of the season. If it's his last pass as a Buc, then his career there will begin and end with pick sixes. The Bucs have a tough offseason decision on Winston, who will be a free agent. Ronald Jones had some promising moments this year and Perriman is about get paid in free agency.

Footballguys view: Howard is looking questionable at best with the injury coming out of the bye. Cameron Brate would get a start and have some streamer appeal if Howard is out. It's possible the team could get their right tackle back this week.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers OG Alex Cappa (forearm), LB Jack Cichy (elbow), OT Demar Dotson (hamstring), WR Breshad Perriman (hamstring) and OG Zack Bailey (ankle, foot) did not participate in practice Friday, Oct. 11, and have been ruled out for Week 6. RB T.J. Logan (ankle) was limited during practice and is listed as questionable. DT Ndamukong Suh (knee) and OT Josh Wells (non-injury) fully participated in practice and are not on the injury report.

Footballguys view: The Bucs will be missing the right side of their starting offensive line on Sunday vs the surging Panthers pass rush. This is not ideal for Jameis Winston and the passing game, although you still have to play both Bucs receivers.

Buccaneers | Breshad Perriman creating buzz    Fri Jul 12, 04:37 PM

Tampa Bay Buccaneers WR Breshad Perriman reportedly has many members of the team's brass 'most excited' about what he can bring to the table in 2019, team sources tell PewterReport.com.

Footballguys view: A first-round pick of the Ravens in the 2015 NFL draft, Perriman is trying to jump-start his career with another team. He was with the Browns last year and posted 16 catches for 340 yards and two touchdowns in 10 games. The depth chart in Tampa is wide open behind Mike Evans and Chris Godwin...plus, reports about Perriman this spring have seemed like more than just offseason fluff. We'll watch this in super deep dynasty formats but that's about it.

Buccaneers | Breshad Perriman back in action    Thu Jun 20, 09:40 PM

Tampa Bay Buccaneers WR Breshad Perriman (shoulder) was able to participate in mandatory minicamp.

Footballguys view: This is good news for a former first round pick who was just starting to put it together in Cleveland last year. He hasn't been able to stay healthy for long so hearing that he was sidelined earlier in the offseason was discouraging. Remember 2018 fifth-round pick Justin Watson and this year's sixth rounder Scott Miller, who is the type of light vertical receiver that Bruce Arians has done well with in the past. Any issue with Perriman would put one of them on the field in a high value role.

Buccaneers | Breshad Perriman out with shoulder injury    Wed May 29, 01:18 PM

Tampa Bay Buccaneers WR Breshad Perriman (shoulder) has been out the last two weeks due to a shoulder injury.

Footballguys view: There has been some positive buzz about Perriman since he gets a fresh start with the Buccaneers. Reports swirled about his connection with QB Jameis Winston and things were looking up for the first-round bust (Ravens, 2015). Now, the injury bug is back at it with Perriman. It doesn't sound like a major injury but it is taking him out of action as he competes for the No. 3 wide receiver job with the Buccaneers.

Buccaneers | Breshad Perriman making early impression    Mon May 20, 04:06 PM

Tampa Bay Buccaneers WR Breshad Perriman appears to have established an early rhythm with Jameis Winston, according to Pewter Report's Scott Reynolds.

Footballguys view: This is yet another positive piece about Perriman. It doesn't mean he's made it or turned things around, but it is a clue as to how things are progressing for him. Injuries derailed his pro career to this point but Perriman seems to be impressing early on with his fresh start in Tampa.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers WR Breshad Perriman said he is continuing to develop his timing with QB Jameis Winston, and he expects 'big plays all around' in head coach Bruce Arians offense this year.

Footballguys view: Perriman got a fresh start with the Browns in 2018 and he was going to stay for the 2019 season on a one-year, $4 million deal. Instead, the Browns traded for Odell Beckham Jr. and Perriman wanted out. We'll see if he can thrive in the downfield passing game Bucs head coach Bruce Arians is known for. Perriman is likely fourth on the depth chart at this time.

Updating a previous report, impending free-agent WR Breshad Perriman's agent and Cleveland Browns general manager John Dorsey mutually agreed to not follow through on their verbal agreement Tuesday, March 12.

Eagles | Breshad Perriman a possible fit    Thu Jan 24, 02:02 AM

Cleveland Browns WR Breshad Perriman could be a free agency target for the Philadelphia Eagles, in the opinion of Philly Voice's Jimmy Kempski, who believes Perriman's speed could be a missing component in the Eagles' passing game.

Footballguys view: A first-round pick in the 2015 NFL draft, Perriman was a bust for the Ravens. He moved on to the Browns in 2018 and made some plays here and there -- finishing with 16 catches for 340 yards and two touchdowns. The Eagles could use some deep speed on offense, but we think it's DeSean Jackson who could best fill that role in 2019. Jackson is still under contract with the Buccaneers but is expected to be released this offseason.

Footballguys view: The Browns needed to do something with their injury-depleted WR corps. Footballguys view: Well that didn't last long. The former first-round pick (2015) signed with Washington less than a week ago. Washington has injury concerns with their WR corps, but Perriman clearly didn't do enough to stick with the team. His athletic profile may get him another shot with a different team.

Footballguys view: A first-round pick in the 2015 NFL draft, Perriman has failed to stay healthy and produce at the expected level...and that's why the Ravens decided to move on. Washington has an underwhelming WR corps but we don't think Perriman makes a huge difference for his new team.
