Quick fantasy outlook: A bit of an unknown commodity after being drafted out of Canadian college Regina in 2012, Hicks played only part-time snaps (383) in his rookie year. With little competition behind him of any great quality, however, he seems likely to play the 5-technique DE role, most likely on the strong side. Hicks' natural physical skill set will have to be honed by defensive coordinator Rob Ryan and his staff; although talented, the former 3rd round pick is still very raw.
