From Mark Wimer's Monday injury report (Mon Jan 19): Sherman played through an elbow injury during the final quarter of Sunday's NFC Championship Game with his left arm folded against his side. Albert Breer reported Monday that an MRI showed a sprain and that Sherman should be available for the Super Bowl.

General News (Sat Jan 31): practiced fully on Saturday and is expected to play this week.

General News (Wed Jan 28): has torn ligaments in his elbow, but he is improving daily and he is no longer receiving treatment for the injury. Sherman isn't going to miss the Super Bowl. After the game, we'll see what kind of treatment Sherman needs to get his elbow right during the offseason.
