'The expectation is to get to Sunday and see where we are. The other two guys (Maurice Morris and Keiland Williams) are ready to go. There is a scenario there where Kevin can play for us.'

RBs Maurice Morris and Keiland Williams will also see increased action. 'We've considered that,' offensive coordinator Scott Linehan said. 'We use him some (there), and did last year. He's definitely going to be in the mix. I don't know how much he'll get, but I can see him getting a few cracks at it.' Logan has three carries for seven yards this year and had 15 for 95 yards last year.

Leshoure's power between-the-tackles style makes him best suited as a 4-minute back when the Lions are trying to kill the clock.
| Footballguys view: Lions head coach Jim Schwartz has made it clear this offseason that the starting role could change from week to week depending on matchup. Best is a dynamic playmaker but wore down last year. LeShoure could be a featured runner in the NFL and may get an opportunity to be the lone back if Best is hurt again. He has just begun to work in the team drills after rehabbing and doing individual drills all offseason long. He didn't participate in the team's afternoon walk-through.
