Falcons | J'Mon Moore joins Atlanta    Fri Jul 30, 07:23 PM

Free-agent WR J'Mon Moore (Texans) signed with the Atlanta Falcons Friday, July 30. Terms of the contract were not disclosed.

Footballguys view: A fourth-round pick of the Packers in the 2018 NFL draft, Moore has bounced around to several teams since then. He's a big-bodied player who knows how to use his size but only has two pro catches in the regular season. Moore can also work on special teams, improving his chances of making the Falcons even though he's a long shot to do so.

Packers | J'Mon Moore likely to be cut    Thu Aug 22, 02:50 AM

Green Bay Packers WR J'Mon Moore has a 'pretty slim' chance of making the 53-man roster, in the opinion of the Green Bay Press-Gazette's Pete Dougherty, who notes that Moore has had way too many drops in camp. Moore was a fourth-round pick last year.

Footballguys view: Moore could get added elsewhere if a team had a high grade on him and he is likely to be on a practice squad somewhere after making the Packers roster last year.

Packers | J'Mon Moore on the bubble?    Sat Jun 29, 02:28 AM

Green Bay Packers WR J'Mon Moore could be on the bubble for making the 53-man roster, in the opinion of Packers Wire's Zach Kruse, though he also writes that Moore has the 'quickness and size' to be a starter in the NFL.

Footballguys view: Moore was drafted first in the trio of big receivers the team added last year, but appears to be last of the group right now. His quickness sets him apart athletically, but he hasn't made an impact yet. He should catch on elsewhere if the Packers release him.

Packers | Green Bay to carry seven WRs?    Thu Jun 20, 02:53 AM

Green Bay Packers WRs Davante Adams, Geronimo Allison, Marquez Valdes-Scantling, Equanimeous St. Brown, Jake Kumerow, J'Mon Moore and Trevor Davis could all make the 53-man roster, in the opinion of Packers Wire's Zach Kruse, with Adams, Allison, Valdes-Scantling and St. Brown viewed as locks.

Footballguys view: Seven is a big number for the wide receiver position. Most teams keep around five or six wide receivers depending on the makeup of the rest of the roster. We've heard good things this offseason about Valdes-Scantling and Kumerow, so Fantasy GMs should watch their progress closely in training camp and the preseason. Behind Adams and Allison, those two seem the most likely to make the 53-man roster.

Green Bay Packers WR J'Mon Moore finished with three receptions for 27 yards against the Tennessee Titans on Thursday, Aug. 9.

  Packers | J'Mon Moore getting first-team reps    Fri Jul 27, 12:06 PM

Green Bay Packers WR J'Mon Moore is already seeing some time with the first team in training camp. He has reportedly impressed coaches with how quickly he has learned multiple receiver spots.

Footballguys view: Geronimo Allison is the favorite for the #3 job, but Moore is more physically gifted and the team likes his size/speed/quickness combination as a downfield receiver. Both should be on your late round flier list until this gets resolved.

Updating a previous report, Green Bay Packers WR J'Mon Moore was signed to a four-year contract worth $2,912,368, which included a $452,359 signing bonus. Moore was selected in the fourth round.

Footballguys view: Moore has good size at 6'2" 207 pounds and maintains his speed when he makes a break on his route. He was incredibly productive at Mizzou for the last two years and proved he can be reliable as a red-zone target. Dynasty owners should be very interested in his prospects, especially since he landed with Green Bay.

Packers | Green Bay signs six picks    Mon May 7, 01:10 PM

The Green Bay Packers signed fourth-round draft choice WR J'Mon Moore, fifth-round draft choices OT Cole Madison and WR Marquez Valdes-Scantling, sixth-round draft choice WR Equanimeous St. Brown and seventh-round draft choices DT James Looney and LB Kendall Donnerson to four-year contracts Monday, May 7. Financial terms were not disclosed.

Footballguys view: The Packers have an intriguing trio of WRs here. Moore is raw as a route runner, but at 6'3" 207 pounds he can fly down the field and has soft hands to pluck the ball out of the air. Valdes-Scantling measures in at 6'4" 205 pounds and ran a blazing 4.37 40-yard dash at the Scouting Combine. His game is all about going deep and making big plays. St. Brown is 6'5" 214 pounds with sweet feet. He's deceptively fast, mainly because he can change direction without losing much speed. All three of these rookies are worth monitoring in dynasty leagues.

Packers | Green Bay selects J'Mon Moore    Sat Apr 28, 01:42 PM

The Green Bay Packers selected Missouri WR J'Mon Moore with the 133rd overall pick in the 2018 NFL Draft Saturday, April 28.

Footballguys view: Moore has good size and speed, plus a lot of athletic ability which allows him to make plays on the ball. He's still raw and Missouri's offense made his job pretty easy so he could succeed just by being athletic, so the Packers will have to get him to refine his overall game.

Texans | Houston takes a look at J'Mon Moore    Tue Apr 17, 10:42 PM

University of Missouri WR J'Mon Moore visited with the Houston Texans on Tuesday, April 17.

Footballguys view: At 6'3" 204 pounds, Moore is one of the most interesting size/speed prospects at the WR position. He can out-muscle smaller defenders for the ball and does a good job of presenting the largest possible target to his quarterback. Moore is raw as a route-runner and needs to show that he can run the full tree in the pros. He should be a fourth-round pick.

NFL | Three-cone drill highlights    Sat Mar 3, 05:17 PM

Texas Tech WR Dylan Cantrell tied Missouri WR J'Mon Moore to lead all wide receivers with a 6.56-second three-cone drill time Saturday, March 3, at the 2018 NFL Scouting Combine. Southern Methodist WR Courtland Sutton finished third with a 6.57-second run, followed by Indiana WR Simmie Cobbs (6.70) and Clemson WR Deon Cain (6.71).

Footballguys view: Moore, Cobbs, and Sutton are all big wide receivers, even by NFL standards, so having this kind of short-area quickness and lateral agility will stand out in a deep class of big receivers.

NFL | Short shuttle numbers of note    Sat Mar 3, 05:06 PM

Texas Tech WR Dylan Cantrell led all wide receivers with a 4.03-second 20-yard shuttle time Saturday, March 3, at the 2018 NFL Scouting Combine. Missouri WR J'Mon Moore finished second with a 4.04-second run, followed by Maryland WR D.J. Moore (4.07), Southern Methodist WR Courtland Sutton (4.11), Texas Tech WR Keke Coutee (4.15) and Penn State WR DaeSean Hamilton (4.15).

Footballguys view: Sutton is massive for a wide receiver and his three-cone will stand out. His tape shows quickness in his routes and running after the catch that maps to this rare combination of size and suddenness. J'Mon Moore also has length to make his three-cone evidence of a rare combination of physical abilities.

NFL | WR bench press top performers    Sat Mar 3, 12:53 PM

West Virginia WR Ka'Raun White led all wide receivers with 24 repetitions at 225 pounds on the bench press Saturday, March 3, at the 2018 NFL Scouting Combine. Memphis WR Anthony Miller finished second with 22 reps, followed by Missouri WR J'Mon Moore (21), Texas A&M WR WR Christian Kirk (20) and Notre Dame WR Equanimeous St. Brown (20).

Footballguys view: Miller isn't running or testing at the combine because of recovery from a foot injury, but his result in the bench press enhances his profile because he's more of a quick/fast receiver than a powerful pass catcher.
