The Patriots do a lot of things right, but finding WR talent through the draft is not one of them. Dobson was a second-round pick in 2013 and has done little of note as a pro. The concentration problem that plagued him in college has followed him to the NFL. His propensity to get banged up doesn't help either. |

New England Patriots WRs Julian Edelman, Chris Hogan, Danny Amendola and Malcolm Mitchell are considered locks as the top four wide receivers. The team is expected to keep one or two more receivers from a list that includes WRs DeAndre Carter, Aaron Dobson, Chris Harper, Devin Lucien, Keshawn Martin and Nate Washington. Dobson has reportedly looked good in training camp so far, but the fact he doesn't play special teams might hurt his chances. Martin received a $600K bonus in January, so he might be the favorite for the No. 5 job.
