San Francisco 49ers C Marcus Martin (knee) has been ruled out for Week 4 against the Philadelphia Eagles. S Antoine Bethea (ankle), CB Tramaine Brock (toe), OT Anthony Davis (hamstring) and TE Vance McDonald (knee) are questionable, while DE Justin Smith (non-injury) and LB Patrick Willis (wrist) are probable. Bethea, Brock and Martin didn't practice Friday, Sept. 26. Davis and McDonald were limited, while the others were full participants.

Martin is listed as out for the Week 3 game against the Arizona Cardinals, while the other three are considered questionable. OT Joe Staley (knee) was limited in practice, and he is listed as probable. DE Justin Smith (non-injury related) was a full participant Friday, and he is probable for Week 3.

Buffalo Bills DT Marcell Dareus is heading to his first Pro Bowl in place of injured San Francisco 49ers lineman Justin Smith. Dareus gets the nod after the Bills' 2011 first-round draft pick finished with 7½ sacks and 71 tackles, both career highs. He was one of five players to finish with at least that many in each category this season.
