San Francisco 49ers head coach Jim Harbaugh confirmed Monday, Sept. 26, that the team left WR Braylon Edwards (knee) and FB Moran Norris (leg) were left home to rehab their injuries. The team traveled from Cincinnati to Youngstown, Ohio, after their Week 3 game, and will not return to San Francisco before their Week 4 game against the Philadelphia Eagles. It appears Edwards and Norris are likely out for the next game.

Norris is coming off a bad season in 2009, but Miller is less physical than Norris. However, Miller is younger, cheaper, a better receiving threat and one of the team's better players on special teams.
