Former Chicago Bears WR Sam Hurd had his bond revoked Tuesday, Aug. 28. A Texas judge ordered him to jail as he awaits a federal drug trial. Hurd was arrested earlier this month in San Antonio after failing two drug tests, in May and July, and testing positive for marijuana on a $100,000 cash bond.

According to authorities, Hurd allegedly attempted to purchase drugs from a supplier in North Texas, which is where the case will be adjudicated. The local office of Immigration and Customs Enforcement is handling the investigation, authorities said.
