Colts | Dallas Clark to retire with team    Mon Jun 16, 04:03 PM

The Indianapolis Colts announced the signing of free-agent TE Dallas Clark (Ravens), so he can retire with the organization. The Colts will hold a retirement press conference for Clark Wednesday, June 18, at 11 a.m. EDT.

Footballguys view: Clark was a fantastic move tight end during his heyday with Peyton Manning in Indianapolis. He's bounced around from Tampa Bay to Baltimore in the last two years, but most will remember him with the Colts.

Ravens | Dallas Clark will still play    Wed Dec 11, 04:26 AM

Although Baltimore Ravens TE Dennis Pitta returned to the lineup on Sunday, Dec. 8, the team still wants TE Dallas Clark to be an integral part of the lineup and he will play at the first opportunity. "Dallas is going to be a big part of what we're doing going forward," Ravens coach John Harbaugh said. "It just depends on the game plan and how the offensive coaches decide to put that together."

Footballguys view: Clark was inactive last week. We'd be surprised if he contributes that much going forward. Pitta makes for a great addition if you lost Rob Gronkowski.

The Baltimore Ravens have declared DL Brandon Williams, CB Brynden Trawick, TE Dallas Clark, WR Deonte Thompson, LB Elvis Dumervil, FS Omar Brown, OL Ryan Jensen inactive for Week 14.

Footballguys view: The loss of Dumervil hurts the Ravens pass rush, but their focus today is Adrian Peterson anyway, so they will likely be going with a heavier defensive line most of the time up front anyway.

Ravens | Tight ends not receiving looks    Mon Sep 16, 11:09 AM

Baltimore Ravens QB Joe Flacco targeted tight ends just three times in Week 2. TEs Billy Bajema and Dallas Clark each had one reception, and TE Ed Dickson had the other target.

Footballguys view: The Ravens were upset with the play of their tight ends in Week 1. We saw a clear emphasis on other positions in Week 2 and fantasy owners thinking guys like Dickson or Clark would have value are sorely mistaken.

Baltimore Ravens offensive coordinator Jim Caldwell said WR Brandon Stokley and TE Dallas Clark are expected to receive significant playing time in the team's third preseason game.

Footballguys view: Stokley and Clark are seasoned veterans and don't need a ton of reps in the preseason. They're getting used to their new teammates and shouldn't take long to get up to speed in week three of the preseason.

Ravens | Dallas Clark official    Tue Aug 13, 10:55 AM

Updating a previous report, the Baltimore Ravens officially signed free-agent TE Dallas Clark (Buccaneers).

Ravens | Have signed TE Dallas Clark    Sun Aug 11, 08:54 PM

Adam Schefter, from ESPN, reports via Twitter that the Ravens have signed free agent TE Dallas Clark.

Footballguys view: The move makes a lot of sense for the Ravens. Clark is not the same player he used to be but the Ravens could use the help at the TE position. TE Ed Dickson (hamstring) is banged up and Dennis Pitta (hip) is out for the year. Clark has experience with OC Jim Caldwell after their time together with the Colts.

Buccaneers | Mike Williams leads team in receiving in Week 10    Sun Nov 11, 10:53 PM

Tampa Bay Buccaneers WR Mike Williams had two receptions for a team-high 64 yards in Week 10 against the San Diego Chargers. Fellow WR Tiquan Underwood had two grabs for just 22 yards, but he was able to haul in a 15-yard touchdown reception in the third quarter. TE Dallas Clark also had just one catch for three yards, but that was good for a score.

Footballguys view: Williams wasn't targeted much in a game the Bucs were able to win with safe play on offense and big plays on defense and special teams. He's still a decent flex play and good bench wide receiver for the stretch run.

Footballguys view: Even though we saw the Bucs passing game get off the ground last week we're not expecting more from Clark. Fantasy owners should look elsewhere for TE options as they navigate through the bye week gauntlet.

Buccaneers | Dallas Clark, Vincent Jackson to play    Fri Aug 17, 04:12 PM

Tampa Bay Buccaneers TE Dallas Clark and WR Vincent Jackson should both see playing time in their game against the Tennessee Titans Friday, Aug. 17, although the starters should not see extended playing time until week three of the preseason.

Footballguys view: Jackson's performance this week and next should be a good indicator of whether he is underrated at this 5th round ADP. Reports are that he and Josh Freeman are on the same page, and Freeman certainly has the game to unlock Jackson's potential. He might end up being a steal if he can stay healthy this year.

Buccaneers | Dallas Clark signed    Mon May 21, 07:21 PM

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have signed free-agent TE Dallas Clark (Colts). Terms of the contract were not disclosed.

Footballguys view: Clark should be the team's starting TE now that Kellen Winslow has been traded to the Seahawks. The Bucs are going to have a run-heavy offense under new head coach Greg Schiano and we don't expect Clark to be much of a fantasy factor in 2012.

Buccaneers | Pursuing Dallas Clark     Mon May 21, 10:16 AM

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers worked out free-agent TE Dallas Clark (Colts) last week, and they are expected to try to make a move on him this week.

Footballguys view: Clark hasn't received much interest in free agency until now. He has visited the Patriots and Chiefs. If the Bucs sign him (and dump Kellen Winslow) then pencil in Clark as the starter.

Broncos | Dallas Clark next to sign?     Mon Mar 19, 01:19 PM

The Denver Broncos are expected to sign free-agent TE Dallas Clark (Colts).

Dolphins | Questions at tight end    Fri Mar 16, 01:22 PM

Miami Dolphins head coach Joe Philbin must figure out if TE Anthony Fasano can fill the starting tight end role in his West Coast system. In Philbin's offense, the tight end position plays an important role as it serves as the primary checkdown for quarterbacks. If Fasano isn't the answer, the Dolphins may look to the free-agent market to add TE Dallas Clark (Colts) or Joel Dreessen (Texans); they could also address the position during the NFL Draft, looking to find a tight end capable of being a threat in the seam.

Footballguys view: Philbin could always try to get one of the Packers' five TEs via trade. We would recommend taking a look at D.J. Williams, who will still be buried on the depth chart behind Jermichael Finley.
