New England Patriots WRs Julian Edelman, Chris Hogan, Danny Amendola and Malcolm Mitchell are considered locks as the top four wide receivers. The team is expected to keep one or two more receivers from a list that includes WRs DeAndre Carter, Aaron Dobson, Chris Harper, Devin Lucien, Keshawn Martin and Nate Washington. Dobson has reportedly looked good in training camp so far, but the fact he doesn't play special teams might hurt his chances. Martin received a $600K bonus in January, so he might be the favorite for the No. 5 job.

However, we need to see him make plays under pressure before we get too excited about the possibility of him starting. In college, Garoppolo would mentally go into the fetal position whenever under a slight amount of duress. More comfort in this offense should make him more courageous when the defense is swarming around him. We'll know more about Garoppolo when the preseason gets here. |

As a part-time player with the Texans last year, Washington was able to snare 47 passes on 94 targets. This year with the Patriots, we think Washington continues as a part-time player but he may only catch around 25 passes. He may have a decent game here or there, but Washington has little fantasy value. |
