CB Casey Hayward (calf, personal) did not practice for a third straight day Friday, Dec. 1, and is listed as questionable. DT Corey Liuget (toe) and PK Nick Novak (back) were limited in practice Friday and are also listed as questionable. C Spencer Pulley (knee) practiced in full for a second straight day Friday and no longer appears on the injury report.
| Footballguys view: Hayward was supposed to return to the team today. His brother died in a car accident earlier this week. While this makes football seem small, if Hayward is out this week, Josh Gordon and Corey Coleman stand a better chance of reeling in a deep ball against the Chargers. |

Updating a previous report, San Diego Chargers P Mike Scifres (shoulder) left the Week 14 game against the New England Patriots in the first half due to a shoulder injury, and the team announced he will not return. There is concern he has a possible broken collarbone, and the severity of his shoulder injury is not known. With Scifres out, PK Nick Novak took over punting duties, and S Eric Weddle took over as the holder, a job Scifres normally does.
