Quick fantasy outlook: Over the past five seasons Eric Weddle has been one of the best safeties in the league. While not generally posting huge interception totals he's always in the 70-80 solo tackle range and has deflected 30 passes in the past three seasons. Weddle did pick off 7 passes in the 2011 season, so the potential is there for him to improve on his 3 from last year. Weddle is the veteran presence on a very young Chargers defense and as close to a lock at the safety position as you can find.
