New England Patriots TE Rob Gronkowski is likely to be covered by Baltimore Ravens FS Will Hill in the divisional round game Saturday, Jan. 10. 'It's not just a one-man job, it's a team effort. He's not a slow guy. If you try to play off him, you're just giving him what he needs. If you play up, he has the strength to get through people. He's a beast. He has a lot of aggression,' Hill said. Gronkowski has three catches for 45 yards in two previous regular season meetings with the Ravens. However, in the Patriots' one win over the Ravens in the postseason, Gronkowski had five catches for 87 yards on eight targets before hurting his ankle. Baltimore plans on jamming Gronkowski at the line of scrimmage to prevent him from getting into his patterns.
| Footballguys view: The Ravens are going to try and get physical with Gronkowski. We'll anxiously wait to see how that turns out. Gronkowski is difficult to slow down, but doing so is key for Baltimore if they want to win. The Ravens are amazingly 2-1 in the playoffs at Foxborough. |
