Buffalo Bills DE Sam Acho, TE Nate Becker, WR Victor Bolden, TE Kyle Carter, DE Jeff Holland, OT Jarron Jones, LB Deon Lacey, CB Cam Lewis, CB Ryan Lewis, PK Chase McLaughlin, RB Marcus Murphy, WR Cam Phillips, CB Lafayette Pitts, OG Demetrius Rhaney, WR David Sills, RB Christian Wade, WR Duke Williams, DE Eddie Yarbrough and DT Roderick Young were released Saturday, Aug. 31. The team also placed LB Vosean Joseph (shoulder) and RB Senorise Perry (quadriceps) on the Reserve/Injured list and placed LB Tyrel Dodson on the commissioner's exempt list.

| Footballguys view: Carter was part of the Vikings organization on the practice squad for a good part of the last two years, so he knows Pat Shurmur's system. The Giants have an underwhelming group at wide receiver after Odell Beckham and Sterling Shepard, so two tight end sets could be used frequently. |

| Footballguys view: Carter is known mostly as a blocker, H-back type of tight end who came out of Penn State as an undrafted free agent in 2016. He follows Pat Shurmur over from the Vikings to the Giants. Carter is not much of a receiving threat, so his dynasty stock in crazy deep leagues isn't that interesting. |

Minnesota Vikings QB Sam Bradford was activated to the active roster Saturday, Jan. 13, after practicing each of the last two weeks without incident. TE Kyle Carter was waived in a corresponding move.
| Footballguys view: The Vikings now have four quarterbacks on the active roster. Bradford joins starter Case Keenum and backups Teddy Bridgewater and Kyle Sloter on the 53-man roster. We haven't seen Bradford since he re-aggravated his knee injury in Week 5 against the Bears. We'll see if Bradford gets the nod as the primary backup behind Keenum while the Vikings are still in the playoffs. |

His size/speed combination showed up watching Schwäbisch Hall Unicorns film on YouTube. A sixth-round pick of the Vikings this year, Bohringer was released on final cuts after camp but he did get signed to the practice squad and spent the season there. |
