Philadelphia Eagles DE Kasim Edebali, DE Eli Harold, LB Hayes Pullard and TE Will Tye were released Friday, Aug. 30. The team also waived WR Carlton Agudosi, S Trae Elston, C Anthony Fabiano, S Deiondre' Hall, CB Ajene Harris, CB Josh Hawkins, QB Cody Kessler, OT Riley Mayfield, CB Jeremiah McKinnon, WR Marken Michel, RB Donnel Pumphrey, OG Keegan Render, CB Sojourn Shelton, LB Alex Singleton, WR DeAndre Thompkins, S Jason Thompson and LB Chris Worley as well as waived/injured DT Aziz Shittu (undisclosed).
| Footballguys view: Pumphrey has some passing game and return ability to offer, but he hasn't been able to crack the Eagles 53 yet. He could get a look elsewhere. |

The Philadelphia Eagles signed WR Carlton Agudosi to a Reserve/Futures contract Monday, Jan. 7. Terms of the contract were not disclosed.

Arizona Cardinals WR Carlton Agudosi could make his NFL debut as the fifth receiver against the Jacksonville Jaguars in Week 12, and WR Larry Fitzgerald praised Agudosi for his size and approach to the game. 'He has an incredible, long wingspan,' Fitzgerald said. 'He can make those big-boy catches, like a Plaxico Burress type guy.'

He didn't post many numbers in college at Rutgers, but Agudosi is huge (6'6" 220 pounds) and has over a 40" vertical leap. A former high school basketball star, Agudosi can obviously be used in the red zone where he can box out and out-leap smaller defenders. |

Arizona Cardinals WR Carlton Agudosi was identified by head coach Bruce Arians as the player that stood out most during camp. Arians also indicated that if Agudosi doesn't make the team he could be brought back to the team's practice squad.
| Footballguys view: At 6'6" 220 pounds, Agudosi has the physical makeup that gets scouts attention. The Rutgers WR fell undrafted this year due to lackluster numbers posted in college with only eight catches for 85 yards and one touchdown in 2016. Agudosi had five offensive coordinators and five position coaches in five years with the Scarlet Knights. Injuries held him back, and so did the offense as they averaged only 138.3 passing yards per game last season. |
