San Francisco 49ers CB Tarell Brown (ribs) did not fly back to the Bay Area with the team after the Week 11 game against the New Orleans Saints due to a rib injury he suffered in the second quarter, NFL.com reported. He was carted off the field, and was in obvious pain walking out of the locker room after the game. If he cannot play in Week 12 against the Washington Redskins Monday, Nov. 25, CB Tramaine Brock would start at right cornerback, with CB Eric Wright serving in nickel situations.

Tampa is probably relegated to starting rookie second-round pick Johnthan Banks opposite Darrelle Revis, who is recovering from an ACL tear.
