Former Indianapolis Colts wide receiver Reggie Wayne was named as the Colts' new wide receivers coach Monday, March 14.
| Footballguys view: Wayne has dabbled in coaching via internships before, and the Colts get a Hall of Fame type wide receiver to lead their room. It's a good move for the franchise as Wayne was one of the best Colts in team history and fans love him. The Colts have some young talent at the position, WR Michael Pittman being the best of the bunch. |

He retires ranking seventh all time in receptions (1,070) and eighth in receiving yards (14,345). He may not be an automatic addition to the Hall of Fame, but we wouldn't be shocked to see him wind up in Canton, OH some day. |
