Panthers | Moore to step in while Smith is out Fri Jun 25, 08:01 PM
CBSSports.com reports with star WR Steve Smith on the shelf for as long as two months, the Charlotte Observer reports that Kenneth Moore is expected to see first-team reps in his place at training camp.
Footballguys view: Kenneth Moore is a savvy veteran who gets by on guts and determination, but once Smith returns we see him returning to his regular role as a reserve player and special teamer. |

Panthers | Moore has chance to move up depth chart Thu Sep 10, 05:50 PM
Steve Reed, of CarolinaGrowl.com, reports Carolina Panthers WR Kenneth Moore had a good preseason and has a chance to move ahead of WR Dwayne Jarrett for the No. 3 receiver job. There is a chance the Panthers have only three wide receivers active for a game.
Footballguys view: Dwayne Jarrett has been a bust since coming out of USC, and earlier reports already had Moore ahead of him on the depth chart. Moore is a possession receiver that should not be a threat to move up past number three on the depth chart. |

Panthers | K. Moore pushing for No. 3 WR? Thu Sep 3, 04:23 PM
David Scott, of the Charlotte Observer, reports Carolina Panthers WR Kenneth Moore has played well enough this preseason that he appears to be pushing WR Dwayne Jarrett for the No. 3 wide receiver job.
Footballguys view: This is in line to previous reports from this week. Dwayne Jarrett has been a huge disappointment, and Moore has seemingly overtaken him as the Panthers' number three receiver. There's not a lot of fantasy production coming from the third receiver on a run heavy team, but if injuries strike in front of him on the depth chart, we could see Kenneth Moore become more of a fantasy factor. |

Panthers | Moore to be the 4th receiver? Sat Aug 22, 08:56 PM
Darin Gantt, from the Rock Hill Herald, reports Kenny Moore always had a pretty good idea about how to play football. It was learning to work that turned him into a factor for the Carolina Panthers. After spending his rookie season moving and watching, the second-year wide receiver has been honing his craft at the knee of veterans Steve Smith and Muhsin Muhammad, and the results are beginning to show.
Footballguys view: Moore may win only the 4th string job, but his future could be very bright in Carolina. Muhammad is no spring chicken, and so far Dwayne Jarrett has been a bust in the pros. If Moore continues to develop, he could be in line for a starting job with the team in the not-so-distant future. |

Panthers | Moore on the rise Thu Aug 20, 11:23 AM
David Scott, from the Charlotte Observer, reports Kenneth Moore, in his first camp with the Panthers, is competing with Jason Carter and Ryne Robinson for the No.4 receiver spot. Moore, who played at Butler High and Wake Forest, was impressive in the preseason opener against the New York Giants (two catches for 27 yards). He is the only player of those three who isn't recovering from knee surgery.
Footballguys view: We've seen players seemingly come out of nowhere time and time again, and Kenneth Moore could be the next one. The Panthers are desperate for help in their WR corps, and if Dwayne Jarrett fails in his third season, the team could move Moore up to the number three spot. Fantasy owners shouldn't rush out and draft this kid, because the Panthers will once again be a run-heavy team in 2009. Just keep his name in the back of your mind, and watch his progress through the season. Dynasty owners could look at Moore as an intriguing late round pick, with upside for the future. |
