Quick fantasy outlook: The plan within the organisation appears to be to use Charles Godfrey as the free safety moving forward, despite Godfrey being used as a strong safety for most of 2012. The team brought in Mike Mitchell from Oakland and they are quite high on second-year player D.J. Campbell to pick up some of the slack, allowing Godfrey to retreat to a playmaking, centre field role. This will only hurt his already mediocre tackle numbers, so consider him a desperation DB3.
