| Footballguys view: Maponga battled through this foot injury all last season in college at TCU. He underwent foot surgery in March and did not participate in offseason workouts. When healthy Maponga is a beast on the line. He's incredibly aggressive and has a strong initial punch to jar opponents. Maponga also has a nice spin move to wreak havoc and get after the QB. Some in the scouting community compared Maponga to Charles Johnson (Panthers) in the pre-draft process. |

| Footballguys view: Maponga played through the foot injury last year in college at TCU. The Falcons could ease him in at the start of camp so they don't aggravate the injury. Maponga has violent striking hands and can jolt opponents back on their heels. He needs to develop better snap anticipation if he wants to play up to his potential as a pro. |

TCU DE Stansly Maponga participated in TCU's Pro Day Thursday, Mar. 7. Maponga registered times of 4.84 and 4.85 seconds in the 40-yard dash. He bench pressed 225 pounds 30 times, and had a vertical jump of 29 1/2 inches.
