Falcons | Ryan Wolfe a player to watch in training camp    Mon Jul 26, 01:53 PM

Atlanta Falcons WR Ryan Wolfe is a player to keep an eye on in training camp, reports D. Orlando Ledbetter, of The Atlanta Journal-Constitution. He will be competing for the fourth or fifth receiver spot on the team's roster.

Footballguys view: We expect Wolfe to make the practice squad because he'll have trouble being out fellow rookie fifth-round pick Kerry Meier and veteran big man Brian Finneran, but every young WR on the Falcons roster is worth watching in deep dynasty leagues because there is long-term opportunity there with only Roddy White really playing above expectations in the WR corps. Wolfe has great hands and is fearless running routes over the middle.

Falcons | Sign 14 undrafted rookie free agents    Mon Apr 26, 01:02 PM

The Atlanta Falcons have signed undrafted rookie free-agents TE Leroy Banks (Southern Mississippi), WR Tim Buckley (Alcorn State), S Rafael Bush (South Carolina State), CB Dominique Daniels (Nicholls State), S Gabe Derricks (San Diego), LS Justin Drescher (Colorado), WR Brandyn Harvey (Villanova), LB Weston Johnson (Wyoming), PK Garrett Lindholm (Tarleton State), TE Michael Palmer (Clemson), TE Colin Peek (Alabama), DE Emmanuel Stephens (Mississippi), WR Ryan Wolfe (UNLV) and LB Bear Woods (Troy).

Footballguys view: The player to watch out here for is WR Ryan Wolfe. He was a record setting receiver for UNLV and has great hands. He's more quick than fast, and may struggle to get separation against NFL quality cornerbacks.

NFL | Wolfe pulls up lame at his Pro Day    Sun Mar 28, 02:52 PM

Gil Brandt, of NFL.com, reports Nevada-Las Vegas WR Ryan Wolfe (hamstring) measured in at his Pro Day with a height of 6-foot-1, 198 pounds. He ran the 40-yard dash in 4.88 seconds, but he pulled his left hamstring n the process. He also measured a 33 1/2-inch vertical jump, a 9-foot-10 broad jump and completed 15 repetitions on the 225-pound bench press.

Footballguys view: It's unfortunate for Wolfe who has been climbing the draft charts and is seen as a late-round sleeper by many teams. He set many records for the Runnin' Rebels and in the Mountain Conference. He's a strong receiver with good hands and ability to get separation down field.
