Broncos GM George Paton said they were happy with the four TEs on the roster (Adam Trautman, Greg Dulcich, Chris Manhertz, Nate Adkins). Denver will use a TEBC with Trautman as the starter and Dulcich getting a few high-value targets (red zone) here and there. |

I haven't seen him much on the field this year, and I'm just curious as to why that was because he is a good-looking athlete,' interim head coach Jerry Rosburg said.
| Footballguys view: Okwuegbunam was shut down for most of this season when Nathaniel Hackett was still the head coach. Since Hackett got fired, Okwuegbunam is getting more of a chance. He's still not a blocker, and Okwuegbunam has problems with concentration, but he's big, athletic, and can create mismatches over the middle of the field. |

| Footballguys view: That sounds about right. Dulcich is an exciting rookie who can flat-out fly. Okwuegbunam is no slouch either, and he's arguably a slightly better blocker. The team is going to have to use a combination of tight ends to do what they want to on offense. However, QB Russell Wilson could be targeting a guy like Okwuegbunam in the red zone because of his size. Consider Okwuegbunam more of a late-round/bench tight end with upside from a fantasy perspective. |

We'll see how he meshes in the Broncos offense as they are stacked with weapons in the passing game. QB Russell Wilson should 'cook' this year, but he doesn't really use the tight end. That makes Okwuegbunam more of a TE2 for Fantasy GMs. |

Denver Broncos OT Garett Bolles (ankle) and S Caden Sterns (shoulder) did not participate in practice Wednesday, Nov. 3. CB Ronald Darby (shoulder), S Jamar Johnson (quadriceps), DE Dre'Mont Jones (hip), TE Albert Okwuegbunam (knee), DT Mike Purcell (thumb) and DT DeShawn Williams (ankle) were limited during practice. DE Shelby Harris (wrist) fully participated in practice.

Denver Broncos TE Albert Okwuegbunam on Saturday, Oct. 30, is being activated off the Reserve/Injured list, according to a source.
| Footballguys view: Getting Okwuegbunam back on the field is good news for the Broncos as they can now run more two-TE sets. Okwuegbunam is a great blocker, but he's also fast and physical as a receiver too. When he returns, perhaps Sunday against the WFT, Okwuegbunam is going to cut into the target share of Noah Fant. |

Denver Broncos TE Albert Okwuegbunam (hamstring) and LB Jonas Griffith (hamstring) were designated for return from the Reserve/Injured list Tuesday, Oct. 26.
| Footballguys view: The Broncos could use Okwuegbunam out there on the field when he's ready. He's a big-bodied tight end like starter Noah Fant, but he's a better blocker. We'll see what he can do in practice as the team prepares for a home game against Washington in Week 8. |

Drenver Broncos TE Albert Okwuegbunam (hamstring) on Saturday, Oct. 9, will be placed on the Reserve/Injured list with a hamstring injury.
| Footballguys view: That means Okwuegbunam is out for at least three weeks with this injury. It will take some time for him to recover, and missing time just means the Broncos will lean on starter Noah Fant more. Eric Saubert could get a small handful of targets with Okwuegbunam out of action. |

Denver Broncos TE Albert Okwuegbunam (hamstring) did not practice for a second consecutive day Friday, Oct. 8, and has been ruled out for Week 5 versus the Pittsburgh Steelers. WR Courtland Sutton (ankle) was added to the injury report and limited in practice Friday; he is listed as questionable. RB Melvin Gordon (leg), WR Diontae Spencer (chest) and CB Patrick Surtain II (chest) were also limited in practice Friday and are listed as questionable. QB Teddy Bridgewater (concussion) was upgraded to a full practice Friday and is also listed as questionable. LB Baron Browning (back), OG Graham Glasgow (knee), LB Andre Mintze (hamstring), OG Dalton Risner (ankle), DE Shelby Harris (wrist) and S Justin Simmons (hand) practiced in full Friday and no longer appear on the injury report.

QB Teddy Bridgewater (concussion), RB Melvin Gordon (leg), WR Diontae Spencer (chest), CB Patrick Surtain II (chest), LB Baron Browning (back), C Graham Glasgow (knee), LB Andre Mintze (hamstring) and OG Dalton Risner (ankle) were limited. DE Shelby Harris (wrist) and Justin Simmons (hand) practiced in full.

Denver Broncos TE Albert Okwuegbunam (hamstring) sustained a hamstring injury in practice Wednesday, Oct. 6, and isn't practicing Thursday. He also is in danger of missing the team's Week 4 game against the Pittsburgh Steelers.
| Footballguys view: The Broncos are already without WRs Jerry Jeudy and K.J. Hamler. Okwuegbunam is a talented backup behind Noah Fant, and he can be a factor in the red zone. This could lead to more targets for Fant, and the Broncos could use Eric Saubert a little more. |
