Jaguars | Rodney Gunter likely forced to retire Sun Aug 16, 10:02 PM
Updating a previous report, Jacksonville Jaguars DL Rodney Gunter (heart) revealed he has an enlarged aorta and that surgery has only a 50 percent change of fixing his current health condition. Gunter also stated he does not meet the criteria to undergo the operation, so he has little choice but to 'walk away from this game.'

Arizona Cardinals DT Red Bryant was a veteran with experience who helped plug the run last season. However, he might lose his job in the defensive line rotation for a number of reasons. The team has too much depth, as DLs Rodney Gunter progressed better than expected, Corey Peters (Achilles') is returning from injury and Xavier Williams proved he could be a suitable backup to plug the run.
