Seattle Seahawks WR Jazz Ferguson is 'closer to clinching a spot' on the 53-man roster after catching all four of his targets for 54 yards and a touchdown in a 22-14 preseason win over the Denver Broncos Thursday, Aug. 8, according to Joe Fann of NBC Sports Northwest.

Seattle Seahawks undrafted free-agent WR Jazz Ferguson showed up to rookie minicamp at 240 pounds after playing at Northwestern State (La.) at 227. Ferguson finished strong Saturday, May 4, but he has 'dropped more than one pass' and 'hasn't looked as fast as his 4.45-second time' in the 40-yard dash, according to ESPN.com's Brady Henderson.
| Footballguys view: Ferguson has the size to be a problem for smaller defenders. He's gone through some trials as a young collegian (moving on from LSU) and reports say he's more mature than he used to be. We'll monitor him in super deep dynasty leagues because of his physical traits. |
