The Detroit Lions have agreed to terms with free-agent WR Jarett Dillard (Jaguars). Terms of the contract were not disclosed. The team worked Dillard out Monday, June 11, and decided to add him.

Mike Thomas might be better suited as a slot receiver because of his size and run after the catch ability. Jarett Dillard is extremely athletic, and can effectively high point passes in the red zone. He spent most of his rookie season on Injured Reserve and now will have to prove he can become a more sophisticated route runner if he wants a starting job. |
