The Jacksonville Jaguars waived PK Brandon Coutu Tuesday, July 17. The team signed PK Josh Scobee to a long-term deal Monday, July 16, for four years and $14 million.

Danny O'Neil, of The Seattle Times, reports Seattle Seahawks PK Olindo Mare may have won the team's kicking job after making his only field goal attempt and having three of his four kickoffs go deep in the end zone for touchbacks. None of PK Brandon Coutu's three kickoffs went for touchbacks.
