Footballguys view: Browns fans might recall this being a constant issue with Cameron. Aside from football concerns, we hope that everything is OK and if it isn't, Cameron is very careful coming back. We love football and we know he does too, but life goes on after football and we hope he can have a quality one. |

Miami Dolphins TE Jordan Cameron (head) left the team's Week 3 game early and is being evaluated for a concussion. He is considered questionable to return.
Footballguys view: Cameron has a concussion history with three in three seasons over 2012-2014, so this could be significant if it is a concussion. Dion Sims and MarQueis Gray are the other tight ends for the Dolphins and both are decent pass catchers. |

Dolphins | Jordan Cameron battling drops Fri Aug 26, 12:08 AM
Miami Dolphins TE Jordan Cameron has struggled with drops this preseason, and he dropped two passes in a 17-6 preseason win over the Atlanta Falcons Thursday, Aug. 25. At one point, QB Ryan Tannehill opted not to throw to an open Cameron.
Footballguys view: Cameron looked slack and ill-suited to catch balls in traffic in this one. He was once an elite fantasy tight end, but at this point Cameron doesn't look like he is even worth a roster spot in fantasy leagues, even though the Dolphins appear to going pass-heavy and uptempo this year under new head coach Adam Gase. |

Dolphins | Jordan Cameron encouraged to stay Tue Aug 16, 10:42 PM
Miami Dolphins TE Jordan Cameron took a pay cut to stay with the team, partly due to the advice of Jacksonville Jaguars TE Julius Thomas. The former Denver Broncos tight end told Cameron he would like head coach Adam Gase's system. Cameron said 'one of my good friends, Julius Thomas, who played for (Adam Gase), said, 'You've got to play for this guy.' He does a good job of putting (tight ends) in spots to succeed.'
Footballguys view: Cameron and really the whole Dolphins offense have been lackluster under the new coaching regime, so Thomas's advice to Cameron is not translating to fantasy advice yet. Cameron has a great track record and measureables, but his game dropped off a cliff last year. He's only worth a very late pick, and might be better suited to be a waiver wire watch list candidate. |

Dolphins | Jordan Cameron struggling? Tue Aug 16, 01:23 PM
Miami Dolphins TE Jordan Cameron is going through 'growing pains' and has a lot on his plate, according to Dolphins head coach Adam Gase.
Footballguys view: We're disappointed to hear this news. Cameron has a chance to be Gase's new Julius Thomas this season. We liked adding him as a TE2 late in drafts, but if he doesn't overcome these growing pains then we'll start looking elsewhere for a 'lottery ticket' TE. |

Dolphins | Jordan Cameron excited about new coach Sat Jun 4, 08:16 AM
Miami Dolphins TE Jordan Cameron said he is excited to play for head coach Adam Gase because he has had success with tight ends in the past.
Footballguys view: We are super excited about the Dolphins offense under the guiding hand of Gase. He has a high-powered offense that has put up great fantasy numbers for both the Broncos and the Bears. With Gase calling the shots, we expect better numbers from Cameron--so long as he can stay healthy. Cameron is built a lot like Julius Thomas...and it was Thomas who became a top-5 fantasy TE under Gase with the Broncos in 2013. Like Thomas, Cameron is a former basketball star who transitioned to play one year of college football. While Thomas has shined (when healthy), we have yet to see Cameron truly play up to his enormous potential. He could easily outperform his current ADP of TE18 (13.07) in 12-team PPR leagues. |

Dolphins | Jordan Cameron to be used smarter Fri Apr 22, 05:20 PM
Miami Dolphins TE Jordan Cameron struggled in 2015 because the previous coaching staff did not use him to his strengths, according to a team official. The official believes things will change under the new coaching staff.
Footballguys view: Do not sleep on Cameron this year. We believe in new head coach Adam Gase, and he's going to bring a much more exciting offense to the Dolphins in 2016. A big part of what he'll do will be with Cameron. It was Gase who got the best out of Julius Thomas (a similar player to Cameron) back when the two were with the Denver Broncos. |

Updating an earlier report, Miami Dolphins TE Jordan Cameron restructured his contract Tuesday, March 8, which reduced his $7.5 million salary in 2016 to $6 million. No extra years were added to his deal.
Footballguys view: Yes, Cameron was a bust last year in his first season with the Dolphins. However, we love his upside in Adam Gase's new offense. Keep him in mind as a late-round TE who could pay off for your fantasy team in 2016. |

Dolphins | Jordan Cameron may rework deal Sun Mar 6, 01:27 PM
Miami Dolphins TE Jordan Cameron has been talking with the team about the possibility of restructuring his contract, according to sources.
Footballguys view: Cameron has a $9.5 million cap number right now with $2 million in dead money. There's no way he's going to play at that price after a disappointing 2015. We like his upside in the Adam Gase offense, so we'll see if the two sides can work out a better number. |

Miami Dolphins TE Jordan Cameron may be asked to take a pay cut in 2016. Cameron has a $7.5 million salary with a $9.5 million salary cap hit next season.
Footballguys view: Cameron wasn't the X-factor the Dolphins were looking for so trying to restructure his contract isn't a surprise. If he stays with the Dolphins, we'd be really excited by his upside and potential under new head coach Adam Gase. |

Dolphins | Jordan Cameron likely will be cut Sat Jan 2, 10:23 AM
Miami Dolphins TE Jordan Cameron probably will be released this offseason because he is scheduled to make $7.5 million in 2016, but there is a chance the team tries to re-sign him at a lower price.
Footballguys view: Zero surprise here. Cameron has had a disappointing 2015 season, catching 33 passes for 380 yards and two touchdowns. Lots of changes are coming (again) for the Dolphins, and we'd be shocked if Cameron stuck around for his current price tag. |
