Bears | Six rookies agree to terms    Fri May 29, 01:08 PM

Larry Mayer, of ChicagoBears.com, reports the Chicago Bears have agreed to terms with six of their rookie picks. They have reached contract agreements with CB D.J. Moore (fourth round), WR Johnny Knox (fifth round), LB Marcus Freeman (fifth round), S Al Afalava (sixth round), OL Lance Louis (seventh round) and WR Derek Kinder (seventh round). Terms of the deals were not disclosed.

Footballguys view: Keep a close eye on both Johnny Knox and Derek Kinder here. Knox is blazing fast (he ran a 4.3 40 at the combine) and has amazing body control. He will compete for the starting slot receiver position with the likes of Rashied Davis and fellow rookie Juaquin Iglesias. Derek Kinder is more of a long shot, but that doesn't mean he's short on talent. Considered to be the next great Pitt receiver Kinder injured his knee and missed the entire 2007 college football season. He was able to play last year and seemed to improve as the year went on. He has great hands, is strong enough to run through arm tackles, and has the build up speed to pull away from defenders. Kinder may have to make it on the Bears practice squad this season, but he could one day be a WR2 in their offense.
