The Jacksonville Jaguars waived OL Ka'John Armstrong, WR Tyre Brady, CB Tae Hayes, WR Quadree Henderson, RB Elijah Hood, DL Mike X. Hughes, DL Lyndon Johnson, TE Charles Jones, WR Raphael Leonard, WR Tre McBride, CB Quenton Meeks, TE Carson Meier, S Joshua Moon, OL Bunchy Stallings, DL Kalani Vakameilalo, WR Michael Walker, CB Brandon Watson and DL Andrew Williams Saturday, Aug. 31. OL Donnell Greene (undisclosed), RB Devante Mays (undisclosed), OL KC McDermott (undisclosed) and OL Leonard Wester (undisclosed) were waived/injured, and OL Ben Ijalana (undisclosed) was placed on the Reserve/Injured list. LB Jake Ryan was placed on the Non-Football Injury list.

The Jacksonville Jaguars signed undrafted free-agent WR Tyre Brady (Marshall), WR Raphael Leonard (Southern Illinois), WR Dredrick Snelson (UCF), WR Michael Walker (Boston College), WR Papi White (Ohio), CB Tae Hayes (Appalachian State), CB Picasso Nelson Jr. (Southern Mississippi), CB Saivion Smith (Alabama), CB Brandon Watson (Michigan), CB Marquez Sanford (Murray State), DT Khairi Clark (Florida), DT Andrew Williams (Auburn), DT Roderick Young (North Texas), S Andrew Wingard (Wyoming), S Zedrick Woods (Mississippi), LB Joe Giles-Harris (Duke), LB Connor Strachan (Boston College), OL Donnell Greene (Minnesota), OG Bunchy Stallings (Kentucky), TE Carson Meier (Oklahoma) and DE Shane Bowman (Washington) Thursday, May 9.
| Footballguys view: Brady is a big receiver who is good at the catch point and should be considered the most likely undrafted receiver to make the roster. Giles-Harris was highly productive in college and could impress with Telvin Smith out for the season (at least) and win a spot. Smith was a starter for the Alabama defense and could have a chance to make the team with the Jaguars drafting no corners this year. |
