TE Logan Thomas (knee) and TE Cole Turner (hamstring) were limited in practice all week and are listed as questionable. WR Cam Sims (concussion) was also limited in practice all week but no longer appears on the injury report. TE John Bates (calf), DT Phidarian Mathis (ankle) and OG Trai Turner (quad) practiced in full all week and have also been removed from the injury report.
| Footballguys view: Thomas wasn't expected to be this close to playing after suffering an ACL, MCL, and meniscus tear in Week 13 last season. He shouldn't be in lineups and probably isn't worth rostering in redraft leagues yet, but just that he's questionable this week and participating in practice is a great sign. John Bates should be the primary receiving tight end for the Commanders this week. |

Washington Football Team QB Taylor Heinicke went 9-for-18 for 120 yards, zero touchdowns and zero interceptions against the New York Giants in Week 18. RB Antonio Gibson rushed for 146 yards and one touchdown on 21 carries and also caught one pass for five yards. RB Jonathan Williams rushed for 45 yards on seven carries, while RB Jaret Patterson rushed for 21 yards on six carries and also caught two passes for 14 yards. WR Terry McLaurin caught four passes for 93 yards on six targets. TE John Bates caught one pass for five yards on two targets.
| Footballguys view: Heinicke was decent in the last two games and might have done enough to be the team's opening day starter next season because he is under contract ultra cheap. Gibson finally showed the explosiveness that generated so much excitement going into the season, but the struggles of the offense and nagging injuries kept him from being a big hit this season. |

Financial terms were not disclosed.

He can turn defenders around and has the speed to take the top off the defense to provide a big-play target down the field for his quarterback. Milne was a steady receiver in college and a favorite target of no.2 overall draft pick Zach Wilson (Jets). We'll see how his skill set translates to the pro level. |
