Denver Broncos RB Phillip Lindsay rushed eight times for just 23 yards in Week 9 against the Atlanta Falcons and he did not have a catch on three targets.

Footballguys view: Lindsay's toe injury is keeping the team from committing to him, and he had a few miscues in this game. He's only bye/injury depth heading into a matchup with Las Vegas.

Denver Broncos RB Phillip Lindsay (toe) is expected to play in Week 9 against the Atlanta Falcons.

Broncos | Phillip Lindsay expected to play    Thu Nov 5, 02:24 PM

Denver Broncos RB Phillip Lindsay (foot) is expected to practice Thursday, Nov. 5, and be available to play Sunday against the Atlanta Falcons, head coach Vic Fangio said.

Footballguys view: That sounds about right. Lindsay had been battling turf toe/foot problems this year. He looks great when healthy and has been doing quite a bit without getting many touches. Expect Melvin Gordon, who is not performing as well as Lindsay, to continue to get more snaps/touches. However, Lindsay can make a field-flipping play at any time and is worth considering as a flex play.

Broncos | Phillip Lindsay being used sparingly    Wed Nov 4, 12:19 AM

Denver Broncos RB Phillip Lindsay has received double-digit carries just once this season and has logged four total targets.

Footballguys view: The Broncos paid Melvin Gordon $8 million annually to be the lead back. He's not the best back on the roster because that is Lindsay. The team does not seem to want to use Lindsay as much as he could or should be...likely because they paid Gordon all that money. Even a casual observer can see that Lindsay is the better back. We'll see if anything changes so long as both backs are healthy going forward.

Denver Broncos RB Phillip Lindsay (concussion) is hoping to clear concussion protocol in order to play in Week 8's game versus the Los Angeles Chargers, according to a source.

Footballguys view: If Lindsay can go, he'll be the better play in the Broncos backfield, but both he and Melvin Gordon will still have low ceilings against the Chargers.

Broncos | Phillip Lindsay expected to play    Sat Oct 31, 03:54 PM

Denver Broncos RB Phillip Lindsay (concussion) is expected to play in Week 8 Sunday, Nov. 1, barring a setback Saturday in clearing the league's concussion protocol.

Footballguys view: Lindsay has been making progress all week long. He should be able to play against the Chargers on Sunday. Lindsay will continue splitting time with Melvin Gordon although he has looked like the better back in the Pat Shurmur offense. Fantasy GMs should look at Lindsay as a RB3/flex option in Week 8.

Broncos | Phillip Lindsay practicing    Sat Oct 31, 01:29 PM

Denver Broncos RB Phillip Lindsay (concussion) is participating in practice Saturday, Oct. 31.

Footballguys view: Lindsay has been participating for a few days and should be good to go in Week 8. He'll split time with Melvin Gordon as per usual (when both are healthy), and that makes Lindsay more of a RB3/flex play against the Chargers.

Denver Broncos RB Phillip Lindsay (concussion) was limited during practice Friday, Oct. 30, and is listed as questionable for Week 8.

Denver Broncos RB Phillip Lindsay (concussion) left the Week 7 game against the Kansas City Chiefs due to a concussion and he will not return.

Footballguys view: Lindsay was ahead of Melvin Gordon and outplaying him before this injury knocked him out of the game. We'll see if he's ready to face the Chargers next week, but if you have Lindsay, you should be encouraged despite the early departure.

Broncos | Phillip Lindsay surpasses 100-yard mark    Sun Oct 18, 04:29 PM

Denver Broncos RB Phillip Lindsay rushed for 101 yards on 23 carries against the New England Patriots in Week 6.

Footballguys view: Lindsay ran with a ton of effort and intensity and will force the Broncos to reconsider Melvin Gordon as the lead back. He shouldn't be on the waiver wire in league and he might be flexworthy against the Chiefs next week.

Broncos | Phillip Lindsay practices in full    Wed Oct 14, 06:17 PM

Footballguys view: Melvin Gordon's status is up in the air after being cited for a DUI on Tuesday night. Lindsay is back in action and should be their lead back. The Patriots have not allowed a 100-yard rusher this year so consider Lindsay more of a flex play in Week 6.
