Eagles | DeSean Jackson out 6-8 weeks    Sat Oct 24, 12:26 PM

Updating previous reports, Philadelphia Eagles WR DeSean Jackson (ankle) has been diagnosed with a non-displaced fracture in his ankle and is expected to miss 6-8 weeks.

Footballguys view: Jackson has already missed time this year but was back in action for the game against the Cowboys. He suffered a high-ankle sprain and will now have to miss perhaps up to two months without setback. We could see Jackson later in the year but Fantasy GMs have likely moved on some time ago.

Eagles | Richard Rodgers leads team in receiving    Fri Oct 23, 01:13 AM

Philadelphia Eagles TE Richard Rodgers had six receptions for 85 yards in the team's Week 7 win over the New York Giants.

Footballguys view: Rodgers looks like he'll be a viable TE1 while we are waiting for Dallas Goedert to return. He was a nondescript play with Green Bay, so this really should remind you just how strong the tight end position is for fantasy in the Eagles offense.

He relied on a variety of targets and made a brilliant throw to Boston Scott with time running down to win the game. He'll be a must start against Dallas next week.

The Eagles play on Thursday, so Sanders was unlikely to go even if he got great news on his knee. That makes Boston Scott the lead back for the Eagles and he's got RB2 potential with upside in Week 7. Check out your waiver wire to see if he's there.

Footballguys view: We could see the Eagles use Hurts more as the season goes on. He's a quarterback but he's the Eagles version of Taysom Hill. Hurts can hurt a defense as a runner, receiver...and even as a passer on gadget plays. The Eagles need more playmakers on offense and Hurts can be one.
