Ravens | Marquise Brown finishes with 86 yards    Sun Oct 4, 04:40 PM

Baltimore Ravens WR Marquise Brown caught four passes for 86 yards against the Washington Football Team in Week 4. He was targeted eight times during the game.

Footballguys view: Brown was tackled just short of the goal line on his best play of the game but ended up with another so-so game for fantasy against a Washington defense that was missing its best pass rusher. He'll be still be a high ceiling WR2 against the Bengals defense that DJ Chark lit up for two scores this week.

Ravens | James Proche may be returner    Fri Aug 7, 06:10 PM

Baltimore Ravens WR James Proche is considered the leading candidate for the punt returner job this season. WR Willie Snead and Marquise Brown are also options for the job.

Footballguys view: Proche is a quality slot receiver with top notch hands, but he doesn't provide the speed third round pick Devin Duvernay brings to the table, so special teams is his best path to making the team.

Ravens | Marquise Brown bulks up    Wed Aug 5, 12:53 PM

Baltimore Ravens WR Marquise Brown said he added 23 pounds this offseason and currently weighs 180 pounds.

Footballguys view: That's a lot of weight to add and just be 180 pounds but Brown was never a big guy anyway. Brown is incredibly explosive and dangerous in the open field. If healthy, Brown can be a favorite target of QB Lamar Jackson in 2020.

Ravens | Marquise Brown in for huge jump?    Thu Jul 30, 11:38 AM

Baltimore Ravens WR Marquise Brown is in line for a huge jump in 2020, according to quarterback Lamar Jackson. Brown has bulked up after an injury-riddled rookie season. 'I feel like he's going to have a huge jump, more than people may think,' Jackson said. 'He was hurt last year, people didn't know that, but he went out there and battled his tail off each and every game on a messed up foot. Now his full potential is going to show this year I feel. He's still young, but he's going to show off. My job is to get the ball out quicker, because he's a lot faster with that foot 100 percent.'

Footballguys view: As a rookie in 2019, Brown flashed in about three games and mostly disappointed in the rest. Brown erupted in Week 1 for 147 yards and 2 touchdowns. After catching 8 passes for 86 yards in Week 2, Brown never approached those numbers again but did add another multi-touchdown game in Week 12. He's a WR3 with upside for Fantasy GMs in 2020.

Ravens | Marquise Brown ready to roll    Sun Jun 28, 12:10 AM

Baltimore Ravens WR Marquise Brown 'had a great offseason physically,' according to offensive coordinator Greg Roman.

Footballguys view: Brown entered last year as a rookie still recovering from the Lisfranc injury that kept him from participating in the pre-draft process. His rookie season was full of ups and downs, but this year he's looking to post great numbers. The Ravens have a run-heavy offense, but Brown is the preferred wide receiver on the team. He's a WR3 for Fantasy GMs with the upside to be more if he pays off on his big-play ability.

Ravens | Hopes high for Marquise Brown    Fri Jun 12, 02:17 PM

Baltimore Ravens WR Marquise Brown has said he plans on making a 'big statement' this season -- his second NFL season -- and that has Ravens head coach John Harbaugh excited. Harbaugh added that Brown is currently working out without restriction this offseason after dealing with a nagging foot injury much of the 2019 season. 'That's going to be really interesting to see, because his talent is at a high level,' Harbaugh said in a recent radio interview. 'His motivation is at a high level. His hands are better, and really kind of a lot better, than we thought. Not that we didn't think he had good hands, but he's got really good hands. So all those things, I can't wait to see when he gets back.'

Footballguys view: Brown wasn't healthy last year and still made an impact. He had offseason surgery to remove a screw in his foot, which should help him get back to full speed this year. Brown is available as a WR3/WR4 who could greatly outperform his draft position this year.

Ravens | Marquise Brown hoping to add almost 20 pounds    Sun May 10, 05:59 PM

Baltimore Ravens WR Marquise Brown played at 157 pounds at times as a rookie in 2019, according to Tyler Dunne of Bleacher Report. In addition to working out this offseason with Lamar Jackson, Brown is planning to play the 2020 season between 170 and 175.

Footballguys view: No matter how you slice it, 157 pounds is incredibly light for an NFL player. Adding 20 pounds and retaining his quickness, which Brown likely would, is for the best in terms of helping the talented second-year player play up to his potential. Brown has incredible upside as a player because he is a legitimate threat to take it to the house anytime he touches the ball. Fantasy GMs should consider him at least a WR3/flex in fantasy leagues this year.

Ravens | Slot work paid off for Baltimore in 2019    Thu May 7, 10:37 PM

The Baltimore Ravens scored a league-high 19 touchdowns out of the slot last season - four more than any other team. WR Marquise Brown accounted for six of those scores, while TE Mark Andrews and WR Willie Snead added five apiece.

Footballguys view: Third-round pick Devin Duvernay stands to benefit from this as he adds speed and blocking from the slot.

Ravens | Marquise Brown has screw removed    Tue Feb 25, 09:52 AM

Baltimore Ravens WR Marquise Brown (foot) had surgery to remove a screw from his foot, and it may limit him in the offseason program. However, he should be fine for training camp and moving forward.

Footballguys view: We likely won't see much from Brown as he recovers during the offseason. That means the team will ease him into action and have him ready for the start of training camp. Brown is one of the most explosive players in the league and can be even better now that he's going to be healthy.

Ravens | Marquise Brown to have bigger impact    Fri Jan 31, 05:49 PM

Baltimore Ravens WR Marquise Brown is expected to make a bigger impact in the passing game in 2020 because he was never fully healthy this season, according to head coach John Harbaugh. Brown did not fully recover from foot surgery and was limited during practices for most of the season.

Footballguys view: Harbaugh confirmed what was obvious when looking at Brown's snap counts and injury statuses this year. Brown should be able to vastly outperform what he did in 2019 and should be sought after in dynasty trades this offseason.

Ravens | Baltimore's stats for the Divisional Round    Sat Jan 11, 11:36 PM

Baltimore Ravens QB Lamar Jackson threw for 365 yards, one touchdown and two interceptions Saturday, Jan. 11, vs. the Tennessee Titans in the AFC Divisional Round of the playoffs. He ran 20 times for 143 yards and lost a fumble. RB Mark Ingram (calf) ran six times for 22 yards. WR Marquise Brown caught seven of 11 targets for 126 yards. WR Willie Snead hauled in six of eight targets for 56 yards, while TE Hayden Hurst caught one touchdown on his four receptions for 53 yards. TE Mark Andrews managed four receptions for 39 yards on seven looks.

Footballguys view: Jackson put up a ton of yards on the ground and through the air. However, he turned the ball over too much to win and seemed to be too amped up from the start. The Ravens were the favorite to go to and win the Super Bowl. Now, they'll be sitting at home for the rest of the playoffs wondering what happened.

  Ravens | Baltimore's Week 17 injury report    Fri Dec 27, 03:10 PM

Baltimore Ravens RB Mark Ingram (calf) did not practice all week and has been ruled out for Week 17 against the Pittsburgh Steelers. WR Marquise Brown (illness) and S Earl Thomas (knee, hand) did not practice Friday, Dec. 27, and are listed as questionable. TE Mark Andrews (ankle) and CB Jimmy Smith (groin) were limited Friday and are also listed as questionable. CB Marcus Peters (chest) was upgraded to a full practice Friday and is listed as questionable as well. CB Brandon Carr (non-injury), DT Brandon Williams (non-injury) and DT Chris Wormley (non-injury) practiced in full Friday and no longer appear on the injury report.

Footballguys view: Andrews and Brown haven't been singled out as starters who will sit in Week 17 despite the Ravens having nothing to play for, but they aren't 100% and could certainly use two weeks of rest. They are unlikely to play for more than a token series if they play at all. Hayden Hurst and Miles Boykin should get longer looks in the passing game this week.

Baltimore Ravens WR Marquise Brown caught all four of his targets for 45 yards and a touchdown in a 42-21 win over the New York Jets in Week 15.
