Baltimore Ravens WR Marquise Brown (ankle) did not play in Week 6 against the Cincinnati Bengals, but head coach John Harbaugh said the receiver remains day-to-day Monday, Oct. 14.

Footballguys view: Brown was given more time to rest his ankle injury as he didn't play in Week 6. We'll see if the speedster can get back to practice by the end of the week.

Ravens | Marquise Brown iffy for Week 6    Fri Oct 11, 01:16 PM

Baltimore Ravens WR Marquise Brown (ankle) was unable to practice Friday, Oct. 11, for the third straight day, and his status for Week 6 will come down to a game-time decision, head coach John Harbaugh said.

Footballguys view: Willie Snead is probably the best pivot if Brown is out, with Seth Roberts likely elevating to #2 receiver and rookie Miles Boykin also getting more snaps. Lamar Jackson's upside would lose some edge if his #1 receiver is out.

Ravens | Marquise Brown sits out Thursday    Thu Oct 10, 02:09 PM

Baltimore Ravens WR Marquise Brown (ankle) was not spotted on the field during the open portion of practice Thursday, Oct. 10.

Footballguys view: The team has downplayed the severity of his injury, but we can't count on Brown playing this week and it might be wise to sit him in what should be an easy game against the winless Bengals. Willie Snead would become a good sleeper if Brown can't go or is limited in this one.

Ravens | Marquise Brown's dealing with minor ankle injury    Mon Oct 7, 03:10 PM

Updating a previous report, Baltimore Ravens WR Marquise Brown (ankle) suffered an ankle injury in Week 5 versus the Pittsburgh Steelers, but head coach John Harbaugh deemed it 'nothing serious' when asked about it Monday, Oct. 7.

Footballguys view: Brown could be limited in practice as he deals with this minor ankle injury. Fantasy GMs can start him as a 'what the heck' flex based on his big-play ability and upside on a weekly basis. It would be nice if his usage was a little more consistent. In each of the last three weeks his targets have gone down (9,7,5).

Ravens | Marquise Brown questionable    Fri Sep 13, 05:25 PM

Baltimore Ravens WR Marquise Brown (hip) did not participate in practice Friday, Sept. 13, and is listed as questionable for Week 2.

Footballguys view: Brown is still likely to play as a boom/bust flex with some risk since he was only in on a handful of plays last week and doesn't seem to be much healthier this week. Miles Boykin could have a bigger game with no Xavien Howard on the field this week and Jimmy Smith out for Baltimore.

Ravens | Marquise Brown remains limited    Thu Sep 12, 05:42 PM

Baltimore Ravens WR Marquise Brown (hip) was limited during practice Thursday, Sept. 12.

Footballguys view: Let's make sure Brown is good to go for Sunday before starting him. He was very limited in his usage Week 1 and the team could ease him in this week once again to make sure he doesn't go down again. Miles Boykin would be a good start if Brown can't go vs. Arizona.

Ravens | Marquise Brown on injury report    Thu Sep 5, 03:46 PM

Baltimore Ravens WR Marquise Brown (foot) fully participated in practice Thursday, Sept. 5.

Footballguys view: Brown is a risky play, but he could benefit from facing a corner other than Xavien Howard. He's only a very deep league play, but this is enough to make him definitely worth a roster spot in longer bench leagues to see what Week 1 reveals for the first rounder in the revitalized Ravens passing game.

Ravens | Marquise Brown buoyed by debut    Fri Aug 23, 12:10 PM

Baltimore Ravens Marquise Brown (foot) made his pro debut Thursday, Aug. 22, in a preseason game against the Philadelphia Eagles, catching all three of his targets for 17 yards, losing four yards o an end-around and catching a two-point conversion pass that was later called back. 'Man, it felt amazing,' he said. 'It's the best day so far. Just being out here -- from pregame to being in the game and being with the team -- it was just a lot of fun.'

Footballguys view: Brown is still not ready to make big contributions yet, leaving the door open for fellow rookie Miles Boykin to make a big early impact. We'll keep Brown on our waiver wire watch list.

Baltimore Ravens WR Marquise Brown (foot) participated in team drills during practice Saturday, Aug. 10. He had been limited to individual drills since being activated from the Non-Football Injury list.

Footballguys view: Brown might get back on the field in time to create some chemistry with Lamar Jackson in game situations and merit consideration for Week 1 lineups against Miami. Whether he or Miles Boykin is the rookie Ravens receiver to target in redraft leagues is to be determined.

Ravens | Marquise Brown still limited    Thu Aug 1, 07:31 PM

Baltimore Ravens WR Marquise Brown (foot) was limited to individual drills for the second straight practice Thursday, Aug. 1.

Footballguys view: This was the plan all along. Brown has been working his way back from Lisfranc surgery and was always going to get going at some point in training camp. He's a super explosive player and we're excited to see what kind of connection he can build with Lamar Jackson in 2019.

Ravens | Marquise Brown expected back in a few weeks    Thu Jul 18, 06:50 PM

Baltimore Ravens WR Marquise Brown (foot) is making solid progress in his rehab and likely will be back on the field in a few weeks.

Footballguys view: Brown had Lisfranc surgery back in February but was still a first-round pick in the 2019 NFL draft. He's incredibly quick, fast and capable of ripping off big plays often. Brown is going to be a great weapon for QB Lamar Jackson in 2019, and it's going to be exciting to see him play this season. Brown's current ADP is WR59 (13.09) in 12-team PPR leagues.

Ravens | Baltimore sends four to NFI list    Thu Jul 18, 05:04 PM

Baltimore Ravens WRs Marquise Brown and Jaylen Smith, LB Jaylon Ferguson and DT Daylon Mack were placed on the Reserve/Non-Football Injury list on Thursday, July 18. Per ESPN's Jamison Hensley, the Ravens typically place players on the NFI list when they fail the conditioning test that's required to participate in training camp.

Footballguys view: Last month, Ravens coach John Harbaugh said he hoped Brown would be ready for the start of camp. Brown is recovering from the Lisfranc surgery he had back in February. Most reports indicate Brown is going to be back before Week 1 but he could miss at least a couple of weeks in training camp. The speedy first-round pick could be a big weapon in the Ravens passing game this year.
