Age: 40

Birthplace: Fort Wayne, IN

Education: Indiana University (BS Business)

Occupation: Accounting and Finance

Hometown: Indianapolis, IN

Family: Married with 3 amazing sons.

Years playing fantasy football: 22

Favorite FF smack talk: None, really. I let the scoreboard do the talking.

Years writing about fantasy football: Sixth year writing at Footballguys

Favorite FBG feature: This is probably the toughest question. Phil Alexander's DFS article is laid out how I think so it's a great starting point and my favorite article on the site. From a tools perspective I love the 10 Second weekly primer - This is so key on keeping up on waiver claims if you are running multiple leagues or only have a few seconds to do research each week.

Organized football experience: Does winning multiple Blitz Bowls in college count? My organized sports experiences mainly went through high school and featured round balls like baseball and basketball.

Favorite NFL team: Dacoltz

Favorite college team: Indiana University

Favorite fan moment: As a long time Colts season ticket holder there have been a lot of great moments the last few years but the 2006 comeback win over the Patriots in the AFC championship was definitely the best game I have been at. For any college basketball fans road tripping with the Hoosiers on their way to the NCAA championship in 2002 including a huge comeback win against Duke was very tough to beat.

Favorite player of all time: Peyton Manning

NFL rule(s) I would change if I could: Playoff overtime, not sure how the league managed to botch this up so poorly.

Favorite movie(s): Dumb and Dumber, Rounders, Remember the Titans, Hoosiers, Field of Dreams, The Usual Suspects

Favorite musical genres/albums/artists: Does the Audible count? It's what's playing any time I have iTunes on.

What I read: Primarily things about forecasting, the future, economics, and our universe. Some good recent reads include Freakonomics, The Signal and the Noise, Physics of the Future, Parallel Worlds, Predictably Irrational, Moneyball, Superforcasters

Hobbies: Fantasy sports, traveling, and poker. Basically anything that involves making some type of prediction or utilizing game theory.

Favorite TV show(s): All the good shows like Dexter and Seinfeld are going off the air. Right now I primarily watch Modern Family, House of Cards, and lots of football.

Least favorite household chore: All of them?

Dream job: Pro sports GM. I would also like to create a new NFL job which would be in game strategist and would cover real time game theory optimization. If anyone's doing it now, or at least well it's the Patriots. Everyone else is giving away wins

Quote: Dumb people do dumb things. - My high school algebra teach.

Parting thoughts: Make sure you enjoy the little things in your life. They take up the most of your time. If you don't, change something. We only live once.
