Age: 35

Birthplace: Colorado

Education: University of Florida

Occupation: Stay-at-home dad

Hometown: Chicago, IL

Family: Wife and two sons

Years playing fantasy football: 17

Favorite FF smack talk: This isn't really generalizable, but when I play in leagues with David Dodds, Bob Henry, Jason Wood, or Maurile Tremblay, (all of whom create projections for Footballguys), I like to tell them before the draft that I've set my Draft Dominator to use 100% their projections instead of the usual blend between the four sets. Basically announcing that I'm drafting directly off their cheatsheet and they can expect me to be sniping them all draft long. Do I actually change my projection mix, or am I just goading them? I'm sure they'd dearly love to know...

Years writing about fantasy football: I've been writing off and on in various places for over a decade, and am entering my seventh season here at Footballguys.

Favorite FBG feature: The Data Dominator and Historical Data Dominator. Lots of sites have writers who will do research. Footballguys is the only site that will give you the tools and let you do your own research. At a time when everyone is getting their info from the same places, the ability to have unique ideas is so powerful.

Favorite NFL team: Denver Broncos

Favorite college team: Florida Gators

Favorite fan moment: This one's for John / This one's for Pat

Favorite player of all time: Aside from the obvious, (I did mention "This one's for John", right?), my favorite recent player is Maurice Jones-Drew. Ran like a bowling ball made of butcher knives, and serves as an exemplary ambassador for fantasy sports.

NFL rule(s) I would change if I could: Defenders who force intentional grounding penalties should get credited with a sack. Receivers who draw pass interference penalties should be credited with the yardage.

Favorite musical genres/albums/artists: If it came out in the '90s, odds are good it's in my playlist.

What I read: Freakonomics, Thinking Fast and Slow, any of Leonard Cohen's collections. I've been reading the Song of Ice and Fire series for 19 years now and wish he'd hurry up and finish already.

Hobbies: Board games. Not the kind you played as a kid. Real ones.

Favorite TV show(s): Game of Thrones, Luther, Sherlock

Dream job: Rock God

Quote: Eschew obfuscation. Espouse elucidation.

Parting thoughts: Never put off until tomorrow what you can avoid doing altogether.
