Wrighster caught David Garrard's first pass of the game and then wasn't thrown to again until the fourth quarter. There, he hauled in a 27 yard reception down the sideline. He was again targeted down the seam on a deep ball that was well overthrown. S Antoine Bethea had it sized up for the interception, but Wrighster lunged into him at the last moment to break it up for an incompletion.

While his numbers were good, he dropped a couple of passes that could have improved his statistics and helped his team even more. However, he did show an ability to run various routes, including some that called for him to run down the sideline and make catches over his shoulder, and he was able to get open consistently.

He was then targeted in the end zone but the ball was just slightly overthrown and Wrighster saw the ball slip through his outstretched fingers. He converted a third down near the end of the half by making an 11 yard reception. Wrighster was only targeted twice in the second half. He caught one ball for a gain of five yards. Wrighster looked like a capable receiving option in the passing game when given the opportunity.

Wrighster made a couple of good catches, but also dropped a pass at Buffalo's two yard line and then committed false start penalties on the next two plays, which were at the end of the game when Jacksonville was attempting to tie the score. Fortunately for Jacksonville, they overcame those penalties to score a touchdown.

Garrard targeted him deep on the Jaguars' opening possession after the break, and Wrighster made the reception for a 17 yard gain and a first down. He converted on third and three later in the half with an 11 yard catch, and the drive ended in a Matt Jones touchdown.
